We love our downtown, and keeping it clean, vibrant and welcoming is a big part of what we do. 💚💚

Today’s Revive & Shine Community Clean Up put the BIA's love into action. 53 volunteers rolled up their sleeves and hit the streets, collecting 65 bags of garbage weighing 396 pounds...and we found some interesting things along the way, from cigarette butts and furniture to fence posts and broken down shopping carts!

Think before you drop it. Taking a moment to put personal garbage in a bin instead of leaving it on our streets, sidewalks and alleyways helps keep downtown cleaner for everyone.

A huge THANK YOU to our 53 volunteers for giving their time and showing up for downtown. Whether you were a business owner, community member, local resident, electoral candidate or BIA staff member, your effort made a difference. You are what makes community happen.

A special thank you to the City of Maple Ridge for partnering with us on this bi-annual event, and to their Operations team for bringing the supplies and hauling away all 65 bags of garbage.

Finally, a big thank you to our food sponsors, Hansel and Gretel Bakery for the delicious desserts and Papa Johns pizza for helping us keep our volunteers fed after all their hard work! 💚💚
