While the weather had its ups and downs, this year's fair turned out to be a massive success, which wouldn't have been possible without our visitors. Whether you show up for the stage, the lumberjacks, the home arts show, for 4-H, or anything else, you support us more than you can ever know and you keep us running year after year.

A massive thank you to everyone who showed up for Country Fest - the visitors, the vendors, the exhibitors, the food trucks, the performers, just everyone. Thanks from all of us on the team.

🐶 The animals of Country Fest wish you all a good night!

🗺 This year at Country Fest we are hosting over 300 4-H Youth from 29 clubs across the province, most of whom brought their lovely animals to the fair. Today they all had a huge number of activities and competitions to participate in.

🐑 We had showmanship and project, a 'hoof and woof' show, the largest turn-out EVER to our costume parade, and the long awaited return of the 4-H Olympic Games! It was non-stop excitement all day long and we hope to keep the momentum up tomorrow!

🙏 Thanks to all of our visitors for making our first full day of the 125th Country Fest a massive success! Tomorrow we'll be back with all the fun we had today, rain or shine, don't miss it!

🎉 The clock is ticking - come down to the Country Fest for a whole day of fun! Gates open at 10:00 and it'll be non-stop excitement until the sun goes down!

Today at the fair we'll have our vendor marketplace, home arts & gardening exhibits, a totally FREE public skate at Planet Ice and, of course, all the live music and 4-H fun you've come to expect.

Make sure you don't miss it! The clouds have come out, but we're staying dry and cool here at the fair - perfect for a day of exploring what we have to offer!

The 125th Year of Country Fest is officially OPEN!!

Come on down for a night of exciting live music, delicious eats, carnival rides and way more! Tonight our stage is featuring the talented Danielle Ryan and Appaloosa, as well as a performance from West Coast Lumberjack Shows.

Tonight is only our soft-launch, so there's even more to come tomorrow. We'll be here from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, don't miss out!

We want to thank the City of Maple Ridge - specifically their Facilities, Parks and Properties team that works on our homebase here at the Albion Fairgrounds!

Over the past few weeks, the Maple Ridge crew has been working just as hard as we have been. They've been giving the grounds a new coat of paint (literally, for some buildings) to make sure its ready for the Country Fest crowds.

The results are a beautiful update to the fairgrounds that will absolutely stand up to the excitement of the coming weekend. Thanks SO much for all your hard work!
