Earlier this week, we had an incredible Work Bee! 🌿❤️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to serve. Together we weeded, trimmed back blackberry bushes, pressure washed our cross, swept the parking lot, and cared for our church grounds. What a joy it was to see our community come together with willing hearts and hands!

This was such a beautiful expression of one of our core Sonrise values:

Thank you for investing your time, energy, and care into Sonrise and helping create a welcoming place where people can encounter Jesus. We are so grateful for everyone who stepped in and served.

Summer Camp is coming! ☀️
We're excited to partner with Thrive Kids Canada to host an incredible week of camp for kids ages 6–12.
This year's theme, I Wonder..., will help kids discover the wonder of God's creation and how He has uniquely made and gifted them. Through games, activities, friendships, creativity, and Bible teaching, it's sure to be a week they'll never forget.

What a beautiful morning at Country Fest this past Sunday! 🌧️✨

The rain didn’t keep our community from coming together with joyful hearts as we gathered for worship, prayer, and connection. There was something so special about standing shoulder to shoulder with people from all around our city, lifting our voices together and making space for God to move.

We loved seeing churches in Maple Ridge come together for a morning of encouragement, hope, and celebration. What a reminder that the Church is bigger than any one gathering. We are called to carry the love, hope, and purpose of Jesus together.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this gathering possible, and to Country Fest for welcoming us and creating space for our community to gather. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful weekend in Maple Ridge and excited for all that God is doing in our city. ❤️

🔥 BTL AT THE BARN | TONIGHT 🔥

We invite young adults from all across the Lower Mainland to join BTL at the Barn tonight for a special gathering with , lead pastor of Oasis Church in LA, who will be bringing the word.

Come expectant for a night of worship, connection, and encountering Jesus together.

This one’s going to be special. Grab a friend and we’ll see you at the barn! 🙌

🌿 Join Us TONIGHT for our Work Bee 🌿

We’d love for you to join us as we care for and refresh the outside of Sonrise Church Maple Ridge together.

Drop by tonight any time after 5:00 PM and be part of what’s happening. We will be weeding, cutting back blackberry bushes, pressure washing, sweeping the parking lot, planting fresh flowers in the planters, and more.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided, and there will be a place for everyone to jump in, whether you stay for a short time or the whole evening.
Please bring a pair of gloves and If you have tools you would like to bring, they are welcome and appreciated. Many hands make light work! See you tonight 🙏

What a beautiful night serving our community! ❤️

On July 22nd, our team joined Warm Hearts to serve our friends experiencing homelessness in Maple Ridge. Even though it felt like the hottest night of the year, God was at work in amazing ways.

We were so encouraged to have members of our Sonrise community join us. Together, we handed out refreshments, snacks, hygiene care packages, and clothing. More importantly, we had the privilege of hearing people's stories, praying with them, and reminding them that they are deeply loved by God.

The greatest miracle of the night? One person accepted Jesus into their life! 🙌 Heaven rejoices!

Thank you to everyone who came and served with such compassion and generosity. Your willingness to be present made an eternal impact.

Please continue to pray for every person we met, that they would continue to encounter the love, hope, and freedom found in Jesus.

Jesus is still changing lives, and we are so grateful to be part of what He's doing. ❤️

The presence of God changes everything.
When we make room for Him, He transforms us from the inside out. His presence brings peace, strengthens our hearts, equips us for His purpose, and sends us out to reflect the love of Jesus wherever we go.
May we never stop seeking Him. 🙏
