What started out in 2015 as a few rabbits for the kids on Easter and a few chicks in the spring for our own fresh eggs, slowly grew into the idea of a small hobby farm and petting farm. As the demand for farm-fresh, free-range eggs grew, so did the number of our chickens and a few other animals such as goats and sheep. Our pet chickens, bunnies, goats, and sheep started to attract attention from many people passing by, and after visiting many of the petting farms the lower mainland has to offer, we decided Maple Ridge needed one too, and we were going to build it. Our vision for the future is to continue to add to the farm to better the experience with things such as a pumpkin patch, flower/butterfly garden, and Christmas trees. Our hope is to create a place where families and friends can spend time together, have fun, experience a little bit of the farm life, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Our 10-year-old daughter Mariah is currently in the running for Youth Athlete of the Year! 🥋🏆
If you’ve ever met her, you probably know how much she loves karate. Karate is a huge part of her life. She trains almost every day, works incredibly hard, and absolutely loves her coaches and teammates. We’ve watched her grow so much through this sport, and we couldn’t be prouder of her dedication.
She is currently sitting in SECOND PLACE, and we would absolutely LOVE to see our farm community help give her that little extra push into first! ❤️

The Spooky Forest is officially coming to life… 👻🌲🕸️
We’ve been busy transforming this little corner of the farm, and it’s getting spookier by the day! Witches, webs, creepy surprises and lots of little details are starting to make their way into the forest. 🎃

The boys have been busy giving our entrance barn a whole new look and we LOVE how it turned out. The black trim, new front and our little chicken window completely changed it!
And of course… now that it’s finished, it’s time to cover it in pumpkins, corn stalks and ALL the fall things. 🎃🌽🍂

There’s been some confusion locally about who we are, so we wanted to properly introduce ourselves.
SITE 248 is a brand-new immersive horror experience, launching for our first year this October. We’re proud to be working alongside Meadows Family Farm to bring an entirely new Halloween experience to Maple Ridge.
We’re building SITE 248 from the ground up with our own team, our own creative direction, and one goal: to create a high-quality, immersive horror experience that gives people something genuinely exciting to look forward to this Halloween season.
We’re incredibly excited to welcome our first guests through the gates and begin writing the first chapter of SITE 248.

🎨 SEPTEMBER PAINT NIGHTS ARE HERE! 🎨
Our Farm Paint Nights have been such a fun addition to our evenings at Meadows Family Farm, and we’re excited to keep them going into September! 💛
Grab your kids, a friend, your mom, or come on your own and spend an evening painting at the farm with Veronica. No painting experience needed — these nights are relaxed, beginner-friendly and all about having fun and creating something you’re proud to take home!
Our September lineup:
