🌸 The Bouquet Affair – Chapter 5 🌸
A hush fell over the pasture, as if the dawn itself knew a secret. One by one, the blooms leaned closer, waiting for the first footsteps of the day.
The sun had barely climbed over the pasture when the flowers began whispering.
“They’ll be here soon,” sighed the zinnias.
The lisianthus stood a little taller. “I hope I make someone smile today.”
Even the goats paused their breakfast to watch the little farm stand.
Every bouquet had a story to tell. Some would brighten a kitchen table. Some would say “I’m thinking of you.” Others would become a surprise for a neighbour who needed a little kindness.
Around here, flowers aren’t just grown—they’re shared.
So, if you’re driving by, stop in and choose the bouquet that’s been waiting just for you.
🌼 Fresh $6.00 bouquets are on the stand today. 🌼
Because everyone deserves a little beauty, and kindness doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

🌸 The Bouquet Affair – Chapter 4: The Missing Sunflower 🌸
The morning began with birds singing and a fresh sign outside the stand:
“Fresh bouquets today! Some come with vases. If you bring the vase back, we’ll happily reuse it.”
Everything seemed perfect… until Daisy Daisy gasped.
“Oh no!”
“The giant sunflower from the display bouquet is gone!”
“I saw it this morning,” said Lily. “It was definitely here.”
The flowers gathered for a mystery meeting.
“I think a squirrel borrowed it,” suggested Tulip.
Just then, a tiny chick came running from the barn.
“Come quick!”
Behind an old wheelbarrow sat a mother hen with her brand-new chicks. Around the nest was a circle of yellow sunflower petals.
Rosie smiled.
“The sunflower wasn’t stolen at all.”
The gardener knelt beside the nest.
“Mama Hen used the petals to make a cozy nest.”
The flowers all giggled.
“So our missing sunflower became a blanket!” Daisy said.
Rosie made a new display bouquet and placed a note beside it:
“Sometimes flowers bloom in unexpected ways. Thank you for helping us spread kindness.”
By afternoon, every bouquet had found a happy home.
As the sun set over the garden, Bisqueet tipped his hat.
“Another mystery solved.”
Rosie smiled.
“And another reminder that even when something seems lost… it may be exactly where it’s needed.”

The Bouquet Affair – Chapter 3: The Cowboy Hat Mystery 🌸
The garden was buzzing with excitement after another wonderful weekend at The Bouquet Affair.
Before the gossip could begin, Rosie Rose gathered everyone together.
“First,” she said with a smile, “we want to thank everyone who came out this weekend to purchase bouquets. Your support means the world to us and keeps our little flower family blooming!”
The flowers swayed happily in agreement.
Just then, a familiar figure appeared at the edge of the garden.
Clip… clop… clip… clop…
Wearing Papa’s beloved cowboy hat, tilted proudly over one eye, was Bisqueet the Goat.
Everyone knew Bisqueet adored Papa’s hat. Whenever he could, he’d sneak over, gently nudge it off its hook, and parade around the farm as if he owned the place.
“Howdy, folks,” Bisqueet said, chewing thoughtfully on a blade of grass.
Benny Bell of Ireland narrowed his eyes. “Where have you been, Bisqueet?”
“Just wanderin’,” replied Bisqueet.
Rosie Rose noticed something tucked beneath the brim of Papa’s hat.
“A note!” gasped Sweet Pea Sophie.
The garden fell silent.
Was Bisqueet connected to the mysterious messages that had everyone talking?
Bisqueet slowly removed the hat and revealed a crumpled piece of paper.
The flowers leaned in close.
But before anyone could read it, a sudden breeze swept through the garden and carried the note straight toward the honeysuckle fence.
Again.
The very same honeysuckle fence mentioned in the mysterious message.
“Oh my petals!” cried Campanella Clara.
Bisqueet blinked.
“I reckon that’s important.”
The note caught for just a moment among the sweet-smelling vines before disappearing deeper into the honeysuckle.
As the sun began to set, everyone stared toward the fence, wondering what secrets it might be hiding.
And why did every clue seem to lead back there?
Bisqueet tipped Papa’s hat and grinned.
“I guess we’ll find out.”
To be continued…
🌸 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out this weekend and purchased bouquets. Your support means so much to our little flower family. Every bouquet helps this garden—and its stories—continue to bloom! 🌸

🌸 The Bouquet Affair – Chapter 3: The Vase Whisper 🌸
Morning arrived softly over the flower shop, where nothing ever stayed ordinary for long.
Sweet Pea Sophie was the first to notice it: a new little sign tucked beside the display of blooms.
“Six dollars,” she read aloud, her petals trembling slightly. “For vase arrangements…”
Benny Bell tilted toward her. “That’s… surprisingly simple.”
But Rosie Rose had already spotted the fine print written in looping ink:
You may take the jar or vase home… or return it when you’re done. No questions asked.
That last part made the room go quiet.
Even Eddie Eucalyptus, who usually loved a mystery, gave a thoughtful rustle. “So the vessels travel too…”
And just like that, the vases became part of the story—some carried away into kitchens and windowsills, others returned like old friends who had stories they refused to share.
No one knew yet if the jars remembered where they had been.
But the flowers were starting to suspect they did.

🌸 The Bouquet Affair – Chapter 2 🌸
The garden awoke to whispers.
After yesterday’s mysterious love note vanished into the wind, everyone was desperate for answers.
Rosie Rose spent the night wondering who had written it. Benny Bell of Ireland seemed distracted, his usually cheerful smile nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile, Eddie Eucalyptus returned at sunrise carrying a small silver key wrapped around his stem. No one knew where it came from.
Sweet Pea Sophie insisted she knew nothing, but every time someone mentioned the note, she turned a deeper shade of pink.
Goldie Solidago had already spread three different versions of the story throughout the garden, and Camilla Cup-and-Saucer remained unusually quiet—which only made everyone more suspicious.
Then something unexpected happened.
While enjoying her morning stroll, Rosie discovered a second note tucked beneath the lavender blooms.
The note read:
“The first message was only the beginning. Meet me at sunset by the Honeysuckle Gate.”
The entire garden gasped.
Who could have left it?
Benny immediately offered to es**rt Rosie.
Eddie simply smiled and said nothing.
Freddy Feverfew suggested everyone stay calm.
No one listened.
As sunset approached, Rosie made her way toward the sweet fragrance of the honeysuckle. Hidden among the vines stood a tall, elegant figure waiting in the shadows.
Rosie’s heart raced.
The figure stepped forward…
But before anyone could see who it was, a wagon arrived at the Crooked Little House, and bouquets began leaving for their new homes.
The mystery would have to wait…
✨ To Be Continued… ✨

🌿 Join us tomorrow for Chapter Two of The Bouquet Affair. 🌿
At the Crooked Little House, every flower has a story… and this romance is only beginning.
💐💕🌿📖✨
I just woke up from a long nap to the sweet fragrance of honeysuckle drifting through the air. Wow… ❤️
Earlier today I had a good laugh. I was telling Barb that I’m not really a fan of the brown and yellow flowers—not because they aren’t beautiful or interesting, but simply because brown isn’t my favorite color.
Then I looked down and realized I was wearing brown leggings and a yellowish shirt! 😆 Apparently my wardrobe has different opinions than I do.
As I sat there laughing and enjoying the scent of honeysuckle, I was reminded how much joy the flowers from the Crooked Little House bring to so many people.
As a loyal customer, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Barb and Marilyn for all the hard work, care, and love they pour into every bouquet. And thank you to everyone who has purchased a bouquet this season and supported their little flower-filled corner of the world. 💐❤️
From the peonies that stole the show to the roses just beginning their turn, every bouquet carries a little piece of the garden and the kindness behind it.
Thank you, Barb and Marilyn, for sharing so much beauty with all of us. 🌸💕😊
— A grateful and loyal customer ❤️🌿💐
