Thank you to our friends at Meadow Ridge Rotary for their donation to our Back to School supplies program 💜

With assistance from groups like this, we were able to distribute over 400 back to school supply kits to students in School District 42, from Kindergarten to Grade 12!

Our second installment of MANY thank yous we owe the community in the wake of the fire at our building on August 17th.

After nearly two weeks of cooking on our Emergency Disaster Truck, we needed to give our staff a break and we looked to the community for some help in the food department.

Enter who, without hesitation stepped up and generously donated a burrito bar lunch to our clients!

We've been a little quiet around here recently -

We have so many people to thank for their support over the last two weeks - more on that to come!

But today, we'd like to thank for donating pizza to our clients while they were displaced. Simple gestures are very much appreciated and go a long way to make our community's most vulnerable feel comforted and cared for.

Earth lost a good one yesterday.

A devoted Christian and Philanthropist, Dolly set trends for future generations of entertainers and humans.

A loss that will most certainly be felt for generations to come.

Today, we join in remembering Dolly Parton and the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.

As a generous supporter of The Salvation Army, Dolly used her platform and resources to uplift families in need in many ways, including through her unforgettable 2023 Red Kettle Kickoff performance. We are grateful for her kindness, generosity and heart for serving others.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to our across-the-street neighbours for everything they do for us. And for their generous donation to our Back to School supply program.

On Wednesday, volunteers from and got together at Ridge Church to help pack over 400 back to school supply kits. These kits will be delivered to schools the first week of September for vulnerable kids in our community that need an extra hand this September with the costs of heading back to class.

With the warm weather upon us, we are in need of men's clothing - tshirts, shorts and pants. Time to clean out your closets and drop your gently worn items off with us at 22188 Lougheed Hwy.

We are also always in need of gently worn shoes - so if you have some to donate, we'd love to have them.

In just a few short weeks, we will be sending 35 boys and girls to a week at camp at The Salvation Army's !

This camp provides vulnerable kids in our community the chance to just be kids for a week - swimming, hiking, canoeing, campfires!

Camp registration is now full for the 2026 season, but stay on the look out if you're hoping for a spot for the summer of 2027😎☀🏖
