這是我們在店裡最常聽到的一句話，也是最容易被誤會的一句。

視力表量的是「看得多清楚」，
但眼睛檢查要看的，遠不只這一件事 👇

🔍 度數有沒有在變化（尤其學童，半年就可能差一大截）
🔍 兩眼協調、對焦能力是否正常（作業寫不久、容易頭痛，常出在這）
🔍 眼壓與視神經（青光眼早期幾乎沒有症狀）
🔍 視網膜與眼底（糖尿病、高血壓會先在這裡留下痕跡）

這些項目，視力 1.0 的人一樣可能出狀況。
反過來說，很多孩子已經開始近視，家長卻常常要等到他看黑板看不清楚才發現 —— 那時候度數通常已經跑了一段。

在安大略省，19 歲以下每 12 個月由 OHIP 給付一次全面眼睛檢查 —— 這件事本來就是為了讓家長不必有成本顧慮。

65 歲以上若沒有特定眼疾，每 18 個月一次。

換句話說，家裡孩子和長輩的檢查，很可能是不用自費的。
（20–64 歲須具備糖尿病、青光眼、白內障等符合條件的病症才在給付範圍內。資料來源：Ontario.ca）

而且檢查完，配鏡、選框、鏡片建議，在同一個空間一次做完 —— 不必再跑第二趟、不必等處方傳來傳去。
