🤖 AI Programs - enter the world of AI! Learn skills in specific tools, upgrade your current workflows, and engage in conversations about the current landscape.
👩🏽💻Other Technology Programs - parenting for the digital age? We can help with that! Learning coding through Minecraft Education? We got that too!
📽️ Short Film Contest & Festival - learn how to do voiceovers and edit in our Markham Village makerspace, submit your short film, and attend our film festival. Popcorn included 🍿!

📣Calling all newcomer youth between the ages of 6 to 12! Starting September 30th at MPL's Aaniin Branch, Join the Love of Language Club with to have fun while practicing your English communication, writing, and reading skills. Throughout this 8-week program, each session will explore a new topic, with activities including discussion, games and reading books! We hope to see you there!

Big smiles, big ambition, and a huge turnout! 🎓✨ What an incredible weekend at the University & College Fair at Thornhill Community Centre Library!
High school students and families filled the room to explore programs, chat face-to-face with post-secondary reps, and unlock key scholarship & admissions tips. A massive thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a huge success.

September is Truth and Reconciliation month. Bestselling author Monique Gray Smith will be coming to Markham Library virtually to discuss her personal journey of truth and reconciliation and read from her various books. She will explore Canada’s historical treatment of Indigenous people and how it impacts them today and will share her Cultural Resilience model and strategies for weaving aspects into our work.
