What should your local CCI chapter cover next?
Every condo and strata community has questions, challenges, and topics that come up again and again.
Maybe it’s budgets, reserve funds, insurance, governance, maintenance, conflict resolution, legislation, communication, or something completely different.
CCI chapters across Canada host educational sessions to help boards, strata councils, owners, managers, professionals, and volunteers stay informed and connected.
Now we want to hear from you.
What topic would you like to see your chapter host a future session about? Share your ideas in the comments.

Strong condo communities need clear rules, fair processes, and better ways to keep condominium corporations informed.
In a CCI Manitoba Chapter article, suggestions were shared to improve Manitoba’s Condominium Act, including updates around condominium director elections, acclamation, proxy transparency, proxy retention, and an annual condominium corporation registry.
That registry idea matters. The article explains that a registry could make it easier for CCI, municipalities, or the province to contact condominium corporations about issues, consultations, proposed changes, regulations, or legislation that could affect them.
It’s a good reminder that advocacy can also start by identifying gaps, raising ideas, and helping the condo community think through what could work better.

Behind every successful condo or strata community are the right resources.
Boards and strata councils are asked to make decisions that impact budgets, maintenance, governance, communication, insurance, legislation, and the people who call the community home.
That is a lot to navigate without support.
Through CCI, condo and strata communities can access education, chapter updates, events, industry connections, and resources designed to help boards, councils, owners, managers, and professionals stay informed.
Because strong communities are not built on guesswork. They are built with knowledge, connection, and people who know where to turn when questions come up.

The cost of not knowing can add up fast.
For condo and strata corporations, staying informed is not just helpful. It can make a real difference when boards and strata councils are making decisions about budgets, maintenance, governance, insurance, legislation, and long-term planning.
A CCI Condominium Corporation membership helps your entire corporation stay connected to education, resources, chapter updates, events, and industry professionals who understand the issues facing condo and strata communities.
It also means your corporation can access member pricing for CCI educational seminars, helping more directors and council members stay informed without adding unnecessary strain to the budget.
When the decisions affect the whole community, having access to the right information matters.

Sponsoring your local CCI chapter is more than just a logo.
It’s an investment in education, connection, and the people who help support condo and strata communities every day.
When your business sponsors a CCI chapter, you’re helping create opportunities for boards, strata councils, managers, owners, professionals, and volunteers to learn, connect, and stay informed.
You’re also building lasting relationships with the people who live in, work in, manage, and serve condo and strata communities.
Sponsorship is not just about being seen. It’s about showing up for the industry, supporting the conversations that matter, and helping strengthen the community around you.

Advocacy in Action: Ontario condominium insurance
Insurance has been one of the biggest pressure points for condominium communities in recent years.
Rising premiums, increasing deductibles, and difficulty securing insurance at reasonable rates have created real challenges for condominium corporations and unit owners.
In response to the Ministry’s condominium insurance consultation, Canadian Condominium Institute - Toronto & Area Chapter submitted comments on behalf of all CCI chapters, bringing attention to the issues facing the condo community and the need for thoughtful solutions.
This is the kind of work that helps make sure condo concerns are heard beyond the boardroom.
