Galten Farms has a long history in the horse breeding business, dating back to the 1800s in East Prussia (modern day Germany/ Lithuania. Gerhard Schickedanz came to Canada in 1951 and started a successful construction and development business with his three brothers. Our beautiful and very talented stallion Take That had a good week, winning the 7yo Jumpers. Rocky is a talent❤️
A number of offspring of our stallion Hope of Heaven had a good week - Jessica Phoenix’, Exclusive was Reserve Champion in the 7yo Jumpers, Shawn Butlers’ BSH Matinee put in a good round in the Modified Grand Prix, Franklin GS, and BSH Cora.
Our Humble GS offspring did well - Cosmo GS moving up to the 1.35M, Open Welcome and Modified Grand Prix, Watson GS being a superstar at the 1.20M with Cameron, Cloud 9 GS and Rebecca Graham finding their way back up the levels.
