Markham Fair

He's nine. He plays tech-house. He's already gone viral. 🎧

DJ Davie Sak is bringing his set to the Markham Fair — and if you haven't seen the videos, they've pulled more than 4 million views. Loud Luxury and Frank Walker have turned up in his comments. He's played the Toronto Waterfront Night Market, the Cabbagetown Festival, and university orientation week at Ivey.

Again: he is nine.

Whoooo is going to the Markham Fair? 🦉

Every year, a group of volunteers heads out with spray cans and turns plain round bales into this. Owls. Pigs. Pumpkins. The Markham Faircrow. Sharing with our community the place to be in October.

You've probably driven past a few already without knowing someone spent a Saturday making them. 🎨

Swipe to see this year's batch 👉 and keep your eyes open on the roads around the fairgrounds — they're out there!

📸 Spotted one? Post it and tag us. We want to see which ones you've found.

Thank you to the volunteers who make these happen every single year. 💛💙

📸 You haven't done Markham Fair until you've met Faircrow.

High fives at the archway. Photobombing the Town Crier. Dancing under the lights at Tiny Tom's well after dark. For years now, our scarecrow has been out on the grounds doing the most important job at the Fair: making people smile.

He'll be back out there October 1–4.

Have you met Faircrow? 👇 Yes, obviously / Not yet

🔴 Raphael — sarcastic, rebellious, and not in the mood.
