For our Editor-in-Chief Deborah, the Mahjong tiles she holds are a cherished family heirloom passed down from her grandmother and mother. Each tile was individually hand-carved by the artisan who made it, giving every piece a distinct character that carries generations of history and craftsmanship. 🀄️

Mahjong is a living tradition passed from one generation to the next.

Inspired by the art of the tiles? Join us tomorrow at A Mid-Autumn Night’s Dream where you can express your own creativity and design a custom Mahjong tile using acrylic markers at our interactive craft station! 🎨

We’re just a few days away from the Mid-Autumn Festival!🏮✨

Growing up, our committee member Victor remembered playing Mahjong with his family almost like building with Lego blocks: stacking, arranging, and piecing together castles tile by tile with his cousins. For Victor, those childhood games were a playful entry into family traditions, shared laughter, and creative connection.

See you at A Mid-Autumn Night’s Dream this Saturday as we create new, unforgettable memories together! Under this year’s theme, In the Mood for Mahjong, guests can look forward to recreation tile-playing, interactive cultural activations, incredible food, live entertainment, and space to celebrate with family and friends.

New Release: The Art of Celebration Annual Edition No.3! 🎊

Celebrations are how we tell time. Not by the ticking of seconds, but by the meaningful milestones, feasts, and gatherings that punctuate a life well-lived. In a world that continuously urges us to move faster, taking the time to celebrate reminds us to slow down, feel deeply, and mark what truly matters.

Drawing inspiration from the artistry of table design, symbolic florals, and the timeless elegance of Chinese porcelain, this year’s cover showcases a curated tablescape designed to embody intentional beauty. It serves as an invitation to gather and set the stage for life’s most cherished moments, honouring heritage while embracing modern celebration.

Inside these pages, we celebrate the extraordinary creators, storytellers, and artisans who devote years to mastering their craft, proving that authentic quality is something you can instinctively feel.

Inside this volume:
✨ Haute Couture & Fashion Design: The signature, show-stopping masterpieces of international fashion designer Sebastian Gunawan.
