We're a third generation Christmas tree farm located just east of Mission British Columbia, that has been growing trees for over 50 years

With the great weather we've been having recently, we were able to finish planting the fields

Not to worry! We don't plant all these trees by hand. Instead we use a mechanical transplanter that's pulled behind our tractor to save us time...and sore backs

Arguably the best part of the job is when the tractor gets to the end of a row and raises the transplanter in the air to turn around

Greenhouse planting week recap!

The soil gets mixed and the trays get filled, ready to be sowed with seeds!

Then each individual cell in a tray gets 2-4 seeds depending on the type of tree

After that, each finished tray gets a layer of sand to help keep in moisture and deter weeds

Then it's all ready to grow for the next year or two!

We are now CLOSED for the season !

Thank you to everyone who got their tree from us this year and for supporting our farm

See you all next year !
