Today, Rotary AIP marched in the Moncton Pride Parade. We are proud to do it every year.

For us it is simple. People deserve to be seen as exactly who they are. That is something we believe in deeply, and showing up today is one of the ways we live it.

Action. Inclusion. Partnership. Not just words, it’s a commitment we carry into everything we do, including this parade. 🌈

To everyone who was out there today — marching, cheering, or just taking it all in — thank you for making Moncton the kind of place it is.

Last night, a wonderful group of Rotary AIP members gathered at the beautiful The Dandelion Café for our monthly coffee night. Good conversation, warm company, and the kind of time together that reminds you why this club is so special.

The evening also held something extra wonderful.

We had the absolute joy of formally inducting our newest member, Will Johnston, a longtime friend of Rotary AIP who has now made it official. Will is a loving community man who understands deeply the importance of giving back and helping to shape the world he wants to live in, one built on peace and unity. We are so glad you are here, Will.

Those who know Will also know that he has a bit of a pirate side. So naturally, President Tammy thought it only fitting to welcome him into the club in some pirate attire. That is the kind of club we are. We show up, we celebrate each other, and we never take ourselves too seriously.

We love the personality of Rotary AIP. We love our members. And we are so fortunate to have this time together.

Hier soir, un merveilleux groupe de membres du Rotary AIP s’est rassemblé au magnifique Café Dandelion pour notre soirée café mensuelle et c’était exactement ce que ces soirées sont toujours. De bonnes conversations, une compagnie chaleureuse et le genre de temps ensemble qui vous rappelle pourquoi ce club est si spécial.

Et la soirée a réservé quelque chose d’encore plus merveilleux.

Nous avons eu la joie d’accueillir officiellement notre nouveau membre, Will Johnston, un ami de longue date du Rotary AIP qui a maintenant rendu les choses officielles. Will est un homme communautaire aimant qui comprend profondément l’importance de redonner et d’aider à façonner le monde dans lequel il veut vivre, un monde bâti sur la paix et l’unité. Ceux qui connaissent Will savent aussi qu’il a un petit côté pirate. This afternoon, a group of us from Rotary AIP headed out to Colour Fest 2026 with Moncton Cares. It was a fantastic time!

There is something really special about being covered head to toe in colour alongside your neighbours, your friends, and people you have never met before. Colour Fest is one of those events that just feels good. It brings people together in the simplest, most joyful way, and reminds us that our differences are something to celebrate, not shy away from. The more colour, the better. In life and in community.

We were also thrilled to present a cheque of $2,100 to Moncton Cares today. This donation came from our Coffee Trivia fundraising night with Epoch Chemistry Café earlier this summer and will go directly toward youth programming. Pretty cool to see a fun night of coffee and friendly competition turn into something meaningful for young people in our city.

The afternoon also held a moving moment.

Our Foundation Chair Martine took the opportunity to personally present both Ketan and Binita Raval with a Paul Harris recognition. These two have given so much to this community, especially when it comes to welcoming newcomers, connecting people with the resources they need to get established here, and addressing food insecurity. They make Moncton stronger and we are so proud to have them in our club. Truly well deserved.

Cet après-midi, un groupe d’entre nous du Rotary AIP s’est rendu au Colour Fest 2026 avec Moncton Cares et honnêtement, nous avons passé un excellent moment.

Il y a quelque chose de vraiment spécial à se retrouver couvert de couleurs de la tête aux pieds aux côtés de ses voisins, de ses amis et de gens que l’on ne connaît pas encore. Le Colour Fest est l’un de ces événements qui fait tout simplement du bien. Il rassemble les gens de la façon la plus simple et la plus joyeuse qui soit, et nous rappelle que nos différences sont quelque chose à célébrer. Plus de couleur, c’est mieux. Dans la vie comme dans la communauté.

Nous avons également été ravis de remettre un chèque de 2 100 $ à Moncton Cares aujourd’hui. Ce don provient de notre soirée de trivia café avec Epoch Chemistry Café plus tôt cet été et ira directement vers la programmation jeunesse. C’est formidable de voir une soirée amusante de café et de compétition amicale se transformer en quelque chose de significatif pour les jeunes de notre ville.

L’après-midi a également réservé un moment vraiment touchant.

Notre présidente de la Fondation, Martine, a profité de l’occasion pour remettre à Ketan et Binita Raval une reconnaissance Paul Harris. Ces deux personnes ont tant donné à cette communauté, particulièrement pour accueillir les nouveaux arrivants, les connecter aux ressources dont ils ont besoin pour s’établir ici et lutter contre l’insécurité alimentaire. Ils rendent Moncton plus fort et nous sommes si fiers de les avoir dans notre club. Vraiment bien mérité.

This past Tuesday, Rotary AIP gathered for a very special recognition evening, and what a night it was.

We took the time to honour some of our incredible club members for their outstanding work ethic, community spirit, and innovation. Watching our Rotarians be recognized for the things they pour into this club and this community every single day was a moment we will not soon forget. Every single person recognized has earned it many times over.

A special mention goes to Anthony Waddell, who received an individual recognition for his extraordinary and wide-reaching contributions to our club and community. Anthony, you are one of a kind.

We also had the honour of hearing from our outgoing President, Tamara Nichol, who reflected on what has truly been a remarkable year for Rotary AIP. Under her leadership, our club has grown in membership and diversity, deepened its commitment to community, and built a culture where every member feels empowered, valued, and inspired to show up. Tamara led us with heart, steadiness, and an unwavering belief in what this club can be. She leaves behind a legacy that will carry us forward for years to come.

Tamara, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts. 💙

And looking ahead, incoming President Tammy Rampersaud shared her vision for the year to come, carrying the momentum forward and building on the incredible foundation that has been laid.

We also welcomed two brand new members into the Rotary AIP family — Michelle Tupy and Ketan Raval. We are so glad you found your way to us. Welcome home!

Mardi dernier, le Rotary AIP s’est réuni pour une soirée de reconnaissance très spéciale, et quelle soirée ce fut.

Nous avons pris le temps d’honorer certains de nos incroyables membres du club pour leur éthique de travail remarquable, leur esprit communautaire et leur innovation. Voir nos Rotariens être reconnus pour tout ce qu’ils investissent dans ce club et cette communauté chaque jour a été un moment que nous n’oublierons pas de sitôt. Chaque personne reconnue l’a mérité maintes et maintes fois.

Une mention spéciale va à Anthony Waddell, qui a reçu une reconnaissance individuelle pour ses contributions extraordinaires et de grande portée à notre club et à notre communauté. Anthony, tu es unique en ton genre.

Yesterday, Rotary AIP had the absolute honour of taking part in the very first inaugural Extreme Dream Foundation Golf Tournament at the Moncton Golf and Country Club.

The tournament was perfectly organized and orchestrated from start to finish. Every team, every participant, every moment spoke to the incredible vision and generosity behind this event. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was electric, and everyone who came through was having the time of their lives.

Rotary AIP was proud to man the 50/50 and raffle tickets throughout the day, and you could find us at hole ten all afternoon serving up our signature AIP Blue Bomb shots to anyone who wanted one! 💙

At the end of the day, Extreme Dreams Foundation announced that they were donating:

$10,000 to Riverview East School towards an accessible playground addition, so that every single student, regardless of physical ability, can access and enjoy their playground

$5,000 to the The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation

$5,000 to Rotary AIP

This is what community looks like. This is what generosity looks like. We are so grateful to Extreme Dreams Foundation, to every sponsor, every participant, and every generous soul who showed up yesterday and gave back in such a meaningful way.

Through their foundation, they will continue to make a strong impact. We look forward to how we can support it.

Hier, le Rotary AIP a eu l’honneur absolu de participer au tout premier tournoi de golf inaugural de la Fondation Extreme Dreams au Club de golf et de country de Moncton.

Le tournoi était parfaitement organisé et orchestré du début à la fin. Chaque équipe, chaque participant, chaque moment témoignait de la vision et de la générosité incroyables derrière cet événement. La nourriture était merveilleuse, l’atmosphère était électrisante, et tous ceux qui sont passés vivaient les meilleurs moments de leur vie.

Le Rotary AIP était fier de gérer les billets de 50/50 et de tirage tout au long de la journée, et vous pouviez nous retrouver au trou dix tout l’après-midi à servir nos shots signature AIP Blue Bomb à tous ceux qui en voulaient un ! 💙

En fin de journée, la Fondation Extreme Dreams a annoncé ses dons :

10 000 $ à l’école Riverview East pour l’ajout d’un terrain de jeux accessible, afin que chaque élève, quelle que soit sa capacité physique, puisse accéder à leur terrain de jeux et en profiter

5 000 $ aux Amis de la Fondation de l’Hôpital de Moncton

We are so proud to announce that Rotary AIP has recognized Tammy Rampersaud with a Paul Harris Recognition — one of Rotary's most meaningful honours — and there is no one more deserving.

In just four years as a Rotarian, Tammy has already served on our executive board, championed membership growth, led our club's communications, and is stepping into her role as our Incoming President. But her commitment to community runs far deeper than Rotary alone.

Since moving to Riverview in 2007, Tammy has given herself wholeheartedly to this region — as a school advocate, elected Councillor and Deputy Mayor, board member, capital campaign champion, founder of 100 Kids Who Care Riverview, creator of an annual Holiday Toy Drive, published children's author, and compassionate volunteer with Hospice SENB, Karing Kitchen, Friends of Fundy, the Community Peace Garden, and so much more.

She doesn't do any of it for recognition. She does it because it is simply who she is.

Tammy lives the values Rotary AIP is named for — Action, Inclusion, and Partnership — every single day, in every room she enters, and every role she takes on.

Nous sommes très fiers d'annoncer que le Rotary AIP a décerné à Tammy Rampersaud la distinction Paul Harris — l'une des distinctions les plus prestigieuses du Rotary — et personne ne la mérite davantage qu'elle.

En seulement quatre ans en tant que rotarienne, Tammy a déjà siégé au sein de notre comité de direction, s’est engagée en faveur du développement de l’effectif, a dirigé la communication de notre club et s’apprête à prendre ses fonctions de présidente entrante. Mais son engagement envers la communauté va bien au-delà du Rotary.

Last night, Rotary AIP attended a fun and enlightening evening of coffee facts and trivia at Epoch Chemistry Café, and what a night it was!

Epoch’s community generosity is truly incredible. They partnered with us to host this event and even created a Rotary AIP specialty coffee, with proceeds supporting females in sport. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the coffee, the competition, and the energy in the room all night long.

A special thank you to our own Sarah and Charline, who coordinated this entire experience with Epoch from idea to ex*****on. Fantastic job, ladies!

We are still awaiting the final tally, but it looks like the event will bring in approximately $2,200 for the cause! Amazing all around.

If you are looking for your special third space in Moncton, Epoch is it.
