My first BMW, six years ago. RWD. Manual transmission.
Back then, I knew almost nothing about cars, but I was eager to learn. I painted it, wrapped it, changed the brake pads and rotors, did the oil changes, replaced the spark plugs, and tackled many other jobs myself. I wasn't a mechanic, I simply loved cars and couldn't afford to pay someone else to do the work.
Looking back, it doesn't matter whether you think my first BMW was ugly or beautiful. What matters is that I chose to learn instead of giving up, and I'm proud of that.
Like many people, I wasn't sure what my future would look like. I graduated from university with a degree in Logistics, then went to NBCC college for 2-years cooking course. Along the way, I worked in IT, cooking, sales, and even ran my own business. I thought one of those careers would become my future.
But life had a different plan.
The hobby I loved the most, cars, eventually became my career. That passion has opened doors I never expected and has given me opportunities I once only dreamed about.
If there's one lesson I've learned, it's this: never underestimate your passion. If you have a dream, a hobby, or a goal, chase it with everything you've got. Even if it doesn't work out the way you imagined, you'll gain experience, confidence, and skills that no one can take away from you.
You never know, what starts as a hobby might one day become the life you've always wanted.
