Repair from last week. Last slide has the restored shear

If your scissors look like this, it’s because of bad sharpening. Really the only reason.

You can see the beveled edge reflecting light differently here.

Tips should never look like that. As you can imagine point cutting was difficult and these pushed hair like crazy

On the Island March 16-21.

These weeks usually fill up quick. Please let me know if your salon needs sharpening.

I will try to fit everyone in the best I can, but I will have to give priority to long time clients and full salons / Barbershops. If I have enough home salons that want sharpening, I will try to set up a day where I’m set up and you can drop off.

I know the timing is not ideal as you all will be busy but it’s the best I can manage.

I’m moving off the island at the end of September 🥹.

I’ve been able to build great relationships with many of you, so there’s no easy way to break this news.

I’ll be just a ferry ride away however. If your are willing to work with me with when it comes to scheduling, I would still love to work with all my regular salons and shops up and down the island.

Thank you so much for the trust you showed me with your tools and having me into your salons and barbershops. It really has been a pleasure to work with all of you.
