Claudia is getting ready to be Tossed. We needed a body double because Claudia was needed to teach in Port Hardy this week and was so sad she couldn't jump! So Hunter stepped up for her! Way to go team!

We have another crew in Port Hardy today teaching Red Cross Standard First Aid, WorkSafeBC OFA Intermediate First Aid equivalent and Transportation Endorsement to a couple of crews! Super valuable training for these remote work sites. And look at the smiles and the views!
Love where we live!

Our Operations Director is supporting a crew doing some exploration and research up north today off Vancouver Island and we are loving the views he is sending us back. So thrilled to be able to provide First Aid Services in gorgeous locations across this beautiful island.

There's still plenty of time to donate to this amazing cause for Nanaimo Brain Injury Society hosted by WildPlay Nanaimo πππͺπ
Whoβs ready to take the leap? π
Toss the Boss is back on Friday, October 2, bringing Nanaimo businesses and community champions together for a 150-foot bungy jump at WildPlay Nanaimo, all in support of brain injury survivors and families.
Teams can nominate a brave boss or colleague, rally their supporters, and fundraise toward this yearβs $75,000 goal for the Nanaimo Brain Injury Society and its local programs and services.
Whether youβre ready to take the leap, cheer from below, donate or get your team involved, thereβs a place for everyone.

We love this appreciation for our first responders by a wonderful local small grocery.
HONOURING OUR LOCAL HEROES

Recently, a U-Haul truck was not returned even after the agreed return time had passed. We reported it to the RCMP, and Constable Quinteros was immediately on it. He went to the renterβs home, stayed in contact with us, kept working on it, and did everything possible to get the truck back.
Within just 7 hours, the truck was back with us.
That quick action and dedication meant a lot to our small business. π
And this is just one example of what our local heroes do for us every day.
We see your ambulances, fire trucks, police cars and other vehicles. We hear your sirens, and we know that when those sirens sound, our heroes are on the road helping someone in our community.
You are there for our seniors, children, families and anyone who needs help, often while some are moving away from the problem.
We are just two blocks away from many of you. Every time you pass by, we may not be able to stop and salute you β but our hearts are always saluting you. β€οΈπ
To all our RCMP officers, Paramedics, Nanaimo Fire Rescue, City Bylaw Officers, Community Safety Officers, Search & Rescue teams, and everyone else who works around the clock to keep our community safe β THANK YOU. β€οΈ
As a small token of our appreciation, Superette Foods has been offering a 10% βHonouring Our Local Heroesβ discount on most items.
Please feel free to use it.
We feel honoured to be able to say THANK YOU in this small way. π¨π¦β€οΈ
With gratitude from our family at Superette Foods Nanaimo to all the people who serve our community, day and night.ππΌππΌβ₯οΈ
