Lilly the Irish terrier came in for a pet strip today! This is where the coat is stripped as much as possible but thinning shears are used on more sensitive areas to make the process easier for the dog. This keeps the texture and color of the coat intact but isn’t as much of a commitment as a full handstrip which requires the dog to come in multiple times a month. Look at the hair pile!!

The teeniest green Mohawk for Zucchini the working cocker spaniel! She was so good for her nails and foot trim! Her mom has been working with her at home diligently to make grooming a great experience for her and it is definitely paying off!

Dogs that shed might not need haircuts but there is a lot that a groomer can do for them! Max the Australian shepherd got a bath, nail trim, foot trim, and bum shaping to help keep his rear end clean. Max was in great shape but we still got a lot of undercoat out of him! This is a lighter tidy which keeps the natural look of the breed but we can also do a heavier tidy for a more groomed look!

Sometimes our dogs have a little too much fun between grooms and come back with some mats! No judgement here, we just have to create a different haircut that removes the matted areas and is easier to maintain! Evie had some matting around her tail, neck, and upper legs so we did a short body and styled her legs to blend with the shorter length! She’s also rocking the rat tail, giving her a sort of Bedlington look. I kinda love it?? What do you think?

We have been working hard on our boulevard and are finally finished! Please park here or in the driveway! Do not park across the street or on our neighbor’s boulevards please!

Big glow-ups for Sequin and Gigi! Sequin is rocking her “big girl” continental for her next show in September and her sister Gigi was feeling left out and got one too! How cute are they??
