Executive Financial Consultant - IG Wealth Management Inc.
As I continue working toward my pilot’s licence, I’m learning that flying isn’t about avoiding every uncomfortable moment. It’s about being prepared, staying disciplined and trusting the plan when conditions change.
The same is true in financial planning.
Turbulence doesn’t mean the flight plan is broken.
Inflation, changing interest rates and market volatility are normal parts of investing. But when conditions become uncomfortable, it can be tempting to panic, abandon the plan or change direction at exactly the wrong time.
A solid financial plan isn’t designed to avoid every rough patch. It’s designed to keep your decisions grounded through changing conditions—so you can remain focused on where you’re going.
Stay disciplined. Trust the flight plan. We’ll reach the destination together.
It rained—a lot—but it was still a great day.
I’ve served on the committee for the North Bay Symphony’s Concerto Golf Tournament for the past few years, and it’s a cause that means a lot to me.
Beyond bringing people together for a day of golf, the tournament raises important funds that help keep the symphony going here in North Bay.
Thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, sponsored or helped make the day happen. I’m also proud that IG Wealth Management continues to support the tournament each year.

Weekends are for breaking out of the routine and making room for something that changes your perspective.
I spend much of the week helping people think about the future. But the point of planning is not to postpone life. It is to make space for the experiences you want to have along the way.
Flying has become one of those experiences for me.
What does adventure look like for you this weekend?

Most of what you’ll see here is about financial planning. But good advice starts with trust—and trust starts with knowing who you’re working with.
Here are five things you may not know about me outside the office:
I love hosting, cooking and bringing people together around a table.
I’ll happily spend an evening watching almost any sport.
The outdoors, quiet water and a bonfire are still my favourite ways to reset.
I play guitar and rarely turn down a good country concert.
I love travelling—and I’m currently working toward my pilot’s licence.
Financial planning is personal. I think it helps to know a little about the person sitting across the table.
Which one do we have in common?

I didn’t have one defining moment when I decided to become an advisor.
It was more of a natural intersection between things I had always valued: working with numbers, solving problems and being someone people could rely on when a decision mattered.
The technical side of planning is important. But the part of the work that has always meant the most to me is the human side, helping someone understand their options, make a difficult decision or feel more prepared for what comes next.
Numbers have always made sense to me. Helping people is what made them matter.
What pulled you toward the work you do?
A good planning meeting should leave you with more clarity—not a longer list of unanswered questions.
When someone leaves my office, I want them to understand what is working, what needs attention and what the next steps are.
That means looking beyond investments and considering how retirement income, tax decisions, education goals, insurance, estate planning and business decisions may affect one another.
No single meeting solves everything forever. Life changes, businesses evolve and priorities shift.
The value is having a coordinated plan, clear priorities and an ongoing process for keeping everything current.
I work with medical professionals, business owners and high-net-worth families who need the pieces to work together. If you’re looking for a more coordinated approach, let’s make it all work together.
Born and raised in North Bay, I grew up in a blue-collar home that taught me to respect hard work, practical decisions and the value of every dollar.
I was drawn to financial planning because it brings together two things I have always enjoyed: working with numbers and helping people.
To me, planning should never feel transactional. My clients have my cell number. I have sat at kitchen tables, met children and family pets, and watched families reach milestones they once only talked about.
I never want someone to feel like an account number across a desk. I want them to feel known, supported and prepared for what comes next.
On this page, I’ll share practical ideas about financial planning, business ownership, retirement and legacy—along with some of the people, experiences and ideas that matter to me.
I work with medical professionals, business owners and high-net-worth families whose financial lives have a lot of moving parts—and who want a clear, coordinated plan.
If that sounds like you, let’s make it all work together.

Life rarely changes one financial decision at a time.
For medical professionals, career and compensation decisions can affect tax, protection and retirement planning. For business owners, corporate and personal decisions are often impossible to separate. For high-net-worth families, investment, estate and legacy decisions need to work together.
That’s why I focus on connecting the pieces—not treating each decision in isolation.
The goal isn’t a thicker binder. It’s understanding what matters now, what comes next and how the pieces connect.
You’ve built a lot. Let’s make it all work together.
