Onoway Public Library

Received this lovely card today from this sweet family. It certainly warmed my heart ❤️ and brought tears 😢 to my eyes. They will be missed. ❤️❤️

Wow! Our floors look amazing! Manuela and Sarah you ladies went above and beyond cleaning the floors. It's a shame that we have to walk on them. Now we can get busy moving everything back so we are ready to welcome you back on Wednesday.

Great progress on our floor refinishing. The before and after is amazing. They are doing an incredible job!

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. It is a day to honour the Indigenous children that were taken away through the Residential “School” System, and their families and communities. It is a day to raise awareness of the horrific experiences many Indigenous people had in Residential “Schools,” as well as the legacy of this system. It is a moment to recognize not only historic harms but also the intergenerational impacts and ongoing violence Indigenous communities continue to face.

Come and join the fun.

All emptied and protected! Even got the rugs cleaned. A lot of work but it will look so nice when it's done. Let the floor finishing begin.

Getting the library emptied out for the floor refinishing.

Please note!

The Harvest Fair is underway. Stop in and check out the adorable critters in the petting zoo from Sturgeon River Purebreds. There are goats, chickens, sheep, bunnies and a cute calf named Pineapple. So many great events for the entire family.

Closure update! Please note the change in hours on Thursday September 24th.
