And just like that… it’s back to school. 🎒

Tomorrow, for so many families, it’s back to backpacks, packed lunches, alarm clocks and the return of the routine.

We’ve loved being part of so many summer memories at Spirit Ridge - family getaways, pool days and those long Osoyoos evenings.

But here’s the good news: back to school doesn’t mean getaway season is over.

Fall is one of our favourite times in Osoyoos. Warm days, cooler evenings, harvest in the vineyards, fewer crowds and a little more time to slow down and enjoy it all.

To all the kids heading back tomorrow, have a great first day.

And for the grown-ups? Maybe it's time to start planning that fall escape. 😉🍂

Our summer live music season at Spirit Ridge comes to a close this weekend, and we’d love to see you for one last round.

Saturday: Lewis Cardinal at The Market, 5:00 - 8:00 pm

A story 10,000 years in the making.

We’re incredibly proud to see our corner of the Okanagan featured by Food & Wine in “In Canada, an Ancient Food Story Predates the Vineyards by 10,000 Years.”

The story explores the Indigenous food culture of the Syilx Okanagan people, a relationship with this land, its foods and its traditions that stretches back countless generations.

And we’re honoured that the journey included a visit to our neighbours Nk’Mip Cellars, Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre and and our own The Bear, The Fish, The Root & The Berry, whose name and culinary story are inspired by the Four Food Chiefs: Black Bear, Chinook Salmon, Bitterroot and Saskatoon Berry.

It’s a wonderful feature about this very special place we call home, and a reminder that the story of food in the Okanagan began long before the first vines were planted.

It’s been a beautiful summer of celebrations, with plenty more to come as we head into fall.
