This , we’re joining the United Nations in celebrating "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations."
Whether locally in Nepean, Rideau, and Osgoode or across the globe, young people share common goals: to feel supported, connected, and empowered to thrive. Through our summer camps and after-school programs for ages 7–12, NROCRC helps local youth build skills and lasting friendships. Addressing shared challenges like youth mental health and counselling remains a top priority for us as we grow our services.
Let's invest in the bright futures of young people everywhere! Learn more at nrocrc.org.

Between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, a human child has the metabolic capacity of a grizzly bear preparing for winter hibernation! 🐻
NROCRC’s free after-school program steps in during those critical, chaotic hours. We provide local youth with a safe space, physical activities and most importantly snacks that take the pressure off household grocery budgets.
For many families in our neighborhood including newcomers this program is a vital community lifeline. It gives kids a place to make new friends and practice their English, while giving parents the quiet space and peace of mind they need to build their new lives in Canada.
It costs money to fuel that much growing energy in kids! A donation to our After 3 Matters campaign ensures local kids are safe, fed and physically active!
