A certain Simon reminded me, there was a time when, we could pull-up to a meet, or show, and totally razz one another, on friendly terms, about builds, time sheets, accomplishments - no bangs, no pops, no revs, who spent the most - just good old fashioned fun, smiles, and laughs.

The story: yeah, even your mechanic goes through things. Listed the Q7 for sale sometime ago. Buncha folks came out to see it. Offers were made. (Hey, did you know you can get a one star review over Facebook Marketplace for not accepting an insanely low-ball offer from a QC resident?? Ya, I’m call’n you out bruh. That’s a new one for me. 🤡🤡🤡). You know what? This rig has been outstanding for ~8 years. 3.0t. Stage 2. F-it. She’s decent. 7 passenger when needed. Doubles as a pickup truck during tire season, haul’n, etc. I don’t really need to make a switch. Just enough tech. Everything still works because Audi actually cared to make quality in ~2011. Let’s invest in keeping it going for another ~8 years. By then she’ll be about ~20yo. I feel we need more of this. Reduce, reuse, recycle. New cars honestly kinda suck imho. (My next purchase to replace was actually 1990-1999 because of so). Keep’em going fam ✌️❤️🙂

Should you be finding yourself asking; “why doesn’t Rodgers have a loaner vehicle anymore?”. On two separate occasions it was used as a ramming tool. Gotta give it up to the ~1995 Audi engineers for building quality products back in the day. Global car of the year?! Two t-bones, walked away both times - let’s see your 2026 RS6 do the same. Lol.
