APAC aviation is about to get a lot busier. PATA projects nearly 715 million international arrivals across the region in 2026, climbing to 789 million by 2028.

The problem: most airport systems still run on periodic updates. A gate change that takes minutes to reach a display board turns into missed connections, idle crews, and buffer time built into every schedule.

In his latest byline, Solace's Sumeet Puri breaks down the three moves changing that: freeing data trapped in individual systems, moving it the instant it changes instead of overnight batches, and getting it into the hands of the teams who need it, with the right governance in place.

The airports that treat real-time data as core infrastructure will grow without the delays and workarounds growing with them.

Most agents stall out before they reach production — not because the model is weak, but because there's no repeatable way to build, test, deploy, observe, and improve them.

Solace Agent Mesh fixes that with a structured Agent Development Lifecycle, built into the platform instead of duct-taped together by your team.

No-code for business users. Pro-code for developers. Built-in evals to prove quality before you ship. GitOps promotion. Human-in-the-loop supervision. Continuous improvement after launch — not drift.

All on a 3rd-gen, event-driven architecture: real-time, resilient, and built to scale with processing, not agent count. Any model, any cloud, no lock-in.

Build AI agents once. Trust them forever.

7 in 10 tech leaders say agentic AI is overhyped.
4 in 5 also say it's already changing how they work.

Both of those numbers come from the same 623 senior technology decision-makers IDC just surveyed for an InfoBrief, sponsored by Solace. And they're not as contradictory as
they sound.

On September 23, guest speaker Shari Lava, Group Vice President, AI, Data and Automation at IDC, and Solace CTO Josh Carroll go live to explain what's actually separating the hype from the results.

Most AI agents don't survive the jump from pilots to production.

Solace Agent Mesh closes that gap: build, test, deploy, observe, and improve every agent systematically, every time, on a 3rd-gen, event-driven architecture that's real-time, resilient, and cheaper to run at scale.

Full agentic lifecycle. Open by design. Real-time. Any cloud, no model lock-in.

That's the full agent development lifecycle. Built in, not something your team has to build.

We talked to over 100 enterprises deploying agentic AI. Here's what we learned about what kinds of agents they're deploying, how those agents are benefiting their business, and what they're doing to maximize their ROI.

They've got agents at three levels of sophistication — ask, assist, and automate — that are frequently participating in the same business process.

When it comes to making those agents and their system as a whole more effective, they run into 3 challenges: the lack of a consistent way to build and run agents, vendor lock-in disguised as platform simplicity, and agents making decisions on stale, batch-loaded data.

Our latest piece breaks down where real enterprises are on the agentic AI maturity curve, and imparts some lessons they've learned that can help you improve and scale your own system. https://okt.to/b9R1GM

The AI agents that actually make it to production have almost nothing to do with which model you picked.

A new IDC InfoBrief surveyed 623 senior technology decision-makers at $1B+ enterprises and found the real dividing line: the most mature organizations are 3x more likely to have several agents already live in production. Not because their models are smarter. Because their data is.

On September 16, IDC's Shari Lava, Group Vice President, AI, Data and Automation (guest speaker), joins Solace CTO Carroll live to break down what separates them, and the #1 barrier still holding everyone else back.

We commissioned IDC to help us answer a simple question: what is the state of real-time data in 2026? The results – as you might expect – orbited around agentic AI.

IDC surveyed 623 senior technology decision-makers at $1B+ enterprises across eight countries. The question: what actually separates the enterprises getting AI agents into production from the ones still running pilots?

It is not the models. Organizations with real-time data across most or all workflows are three times more likely to have several agents in production — 76% of them have that foundation, against 7% of the least mature.

The most-cited barrier for everyone else: connecting agents, in real-time, to data they trust.
