🏗️ Elevator Foundation Formwork: Step-by-Step Guide to building a strong elevator foundation starts with proper formwork! Here’s the process:
📍 1. Set Out the Foundation
Mark dimensions, centerlines, and levels according to the approved drawings.
⛏️ 2. Prepare the Base
Excavate to the required depth, compact the ground, and place blinding concrete if specified.
🦾 3. Install Reinforcement
Fix rebar, spacers, and embedded items while maintaining the required concrete cover.
🪚 4. Erect the Formwork
Install and brace formwork panels securely to achieve the correct shape and dimensions.
🔩 5. Place Openings & Embedded Items
Position sleeves, anchor bolts, drainage components, and other required inserts.
✅ 6. Conduct Final Inspection
