Yesterday tested us in ways we never expected.

The wind came fast, the rain came hard, and in a matter of minutes, months of preparation for so many vendors were scattered across the park. Watching fellow small businesses lose tents, displays, inventory, and so much hard work was heartbreaking.

For us at Wix n Threadz, we walked away with only minor damage, and for that we are incredibly thankful. We don’t take that for granted. We are especially grateful to the volunteers, security, event organizers, and the strangers who jumped in without hesitation to help secure tents and make sure everyone was safe. Your kindness reminded us what community is all about.

Every market teaches us something, and yesterday was one of the biggest lessons yet. We’ll continue to improve, prepare even better, and keep showing up.

Small businesses don’t succeed because everything goes perfectly. They succeed because they refuse to quit.

Yesterday knocked us down for a moment, but it didn’t stop us.

Thank you to everyone who checked in on us, supported us, and continues to shop local. We can’t wait to see you at our next market.
