🌍🎶 A beautiful afternoon at the Afro CariBrant Festival!❤️

Yesterday, Sunday, September 6th, Andrew and I spent the afternoon at Luons Patk enjoying the Afro CariBrant Festival - and what a wonderful way to spend a Sunday!

There was music, dancing, arts. crafts, delicious food and so much energy throughout the park. 🎶💃🎨

One of my favorite things was simply watching all the kids running around and playing in the beautiful park. There's something really special about seeing families come together, enjoy the sunshine and celebrate culture and community.

We also really enjoyed the museum exhibit - such a great addition to the festival and an opportunity to learn and experience even more.

The Afro CariBrant Festival was brought to the community by Darmont GivesBack, a philanthropic initiative of Darmont Events focused on community engagement, inclusion and cultural celebration, particularly here in the County of Brant. We live seeing organizations create opportunities for people to come together, learn from one another and celebrate the diversity of our community. ❤️

We're sorry we missed Saturday, but we certainly made the most of our Sunday afternoon! We had such a great time and can't wait to come back next year.

🎡❤️Almost 20 years of Paris Fair traditions...and we're still discovering new ones!

Last night my husband and I headed to the 168th Paris Fair, and for the first time in all those years, we attended the Saturday night outdoor concert!

We've been going to the Paris Fair for almost 20 years, but we've always made the Sunday night our concert night. This year, we decided to change things up - so we're doing both! 🎶🤠

Last night's headliner was Chris Lane, and it was such a fun way to spend a Saturday night, under the stars, right here at the Paris Fairgrounds.

But of course, the concert is only one small part of what makes the Paris Fair such a special tradition. We love wandering through the livestock exhibits, picture gallery, rides, prizes, jams & pies contests - all the things that make this Fair feel like such a big part of our community. 🍎🐑🐖🥧

And we couldn't leave without one of our favorite traditions... tiny donuts!🍩 ❤️ They're our official end-of-the-night Paris Fair tradition, and honestly, they just taste better at the fair!

Almost 20 years of coming to the Paris Fair in Paris, Ontario, and somehow there are still new memories to make.

🐔🍹 FOWL TOUR DATE NIGHT! 🎯🎱

Hubby and I decided to spice up date night and headed to Wild Wing with our Fowl Tour Passports - and what a fun night!

We started with their Pickle Ceasar... and if you're a pickle lover, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!🥒 It's loaded with Pickle juice, sliced pickles and even a deep fried Pickle spear on top. Absolutely dill-lightful!

Then came the star of the show: Some Beach 🍗🏝 - Wild Wing's Fowl Tour feature wings. These were huge! Deep-fried, golden brown and sauced TWICE with creamy garlic + creamy dill, then finished with a little hot sauce for some extra zip. And yes... wet naps were definitely required!😂
