Truth and Reconciliation Day 🧡

Today we remember the children who never made it home, honour Survivors and their families, and recognize the history and ongoing impact of residential schools.

May we continue to listen, learn, remember, and move forward together.

Do what you will with this 🌭

We donated 300 pairs of indoor shoes to help local kids who need them.

These 300 pairs will go to children and youth in Thunder Bay who need indoor footwear for school, sports, recreation, and community programs. This is about local kids in need — helping them participate with comfort, confidence, and dignity.

Thank you to Sisters for Canadian Black Community Thunder Bay for identifying the need and helping get these shoes into the right hands.

We are proud of our team, proud of this community, and proud to put our support where it counts. When local kids need something as basic as a proper pair of shoes, we want to be there.

This is what shop local looks like. This is what looking after our community looks like.

Thunder Bay, we are with you. ♥️

As wildfires continue to impact communities across Canada, Canadian Tire Corporation is supporting relief efforts through a $200,000 donation to the Canadian Wildfire Fund.

Through our long-standing partnership with the Canadian Red Cross, we've seen firsthand the difference Canadians can make when they come together to support those in need. Customers across Canada can contribute to wildfire relief efforts by donating online at the link in bio or at checkout at participating Canadian Tire, Mark’s, SportChek, Pro Hockey Life, and PartSource locations. All customer donations will go directly to the Canadian Red Cross.

Helping Canadians in times of need is at the heart of our purpose: to make life in Canada better.
