Buckle/Saddle Series awards will be handed out approximately one hour after the last series runner on Sunday. Please stick around, as every single qualifier will be getting an award regardless of your performance in the series! 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱.

For the Series Awards, we are taking your best four times from the series and averaging them. Your average time is what the series awards are based on. The open category awards are based on a 4D format, meaning we will have buckles and prizes in each D. The other categories (Jr, Sr, Pw, & Rk) are a fastest time format and will be awarded as below.

The saddle will be awarded to the person in any category that runs the closest to their fastest average time in the series, on Sunday October 4th. Please note that your Sunday time can also be one of your four fastest times and may be used to create your awards average. This means Sunday also counts towards your race count for qualifying.

Also, as a reminder, Gymkhana awards are done at our banquet in November. It will be held on November 21 and additional details are TBA. To qualify you must attend five out of seven gymkhanas and your best six points days will be used. If you only attend five, you will only have five days of points towards your final total. If you attend all seven, your lowest points day is dropped. This means you can technically miss one gymkhana without being penalized for points.

🍑 Also, as per our rules, if the horse you entered the series or gymkhanas with is injured or sold, we do allow you to swap a new horse in and still qualify! Please email [email protected] if this is applicable to you, and we will ensure it is noted. For the Series you must attend 5 out of 7 and your best 4 times will be averaged for prizes. For Gymkhana you must attend 5 out of 7 to qualify for awards, and your best 6 points days will count (or 5 if you only attend 5).

The sooner you enter the sooner we can get you in the computer! As long as you tell me before the race starts that you can't attend, you will get a FULL refund!!

🍑 Awards for the Buckle/Saddle Series will be handed out approximately 1 hour after the Series ends on Sunday. Our amazing excel expert Bea has made our awards spreadsheet A LOT smoother this year (𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘝𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳?! 👏). Plan to be sticking around and please remember to be patient! We are all just horse crazy volunteers working really hard to bring you guys cool opportunities to run, and awesome prizes. 🍑 On the same topic as above, if you qualified in the series 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 do not leave. I don't care if you hit every barrel in every run and the trash can on the way out, every single qualifier is getting an award! 🍑 Also, as per our rules, if the horse you entered the series or gymkhanas with is injured or sold, we do allow you to swap a new horse in and still qualify! Please email [email protected] if this is applicable to you, and we will ensure it is noted. For the Series you must attend 5 out of 7 and your best 4 times will be averaged for prizes. For Gymkhana you must attend 5 out of 7 to qualify for awards, and your best 6 points days will count (or 5 if you only attend 5).

🍑Please send payment 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 your entry as this significantly reduces our workload. Refunds will be granted if you communicate it to me prior to the race.

🍑If you are paying for multiple people or events, when sending your etransfer please ensure you put in the notes what the payment breakdown for each person and event is. For example, an etransfer of $160. "Jill Buckle Series $60, Jill Gymkhana $50, and John Gymkhana $50."

🍑 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 it is a new season for 𝗕𝗖𝗕𝗥𝗔 which means your 2025/2026 membership is no longer valid.
