Onsite service or pickup/dropoff service available! Don has wanted to open his own computer store from the day that he walked into his first one. That was a long time ago, in the days of the Atari 800 and Apple ][+, and we had these weird places called arcades where you would go to pay to play videogames. Don Holmberg and Kirby Houde started TechSavers in 2017 after years of deliberation. As of August 2018 Kirby stepped away and moved to Kelowna, and now it is now solely run by Don. It is very much a family affair; come in to the store and you might meet Don's kids. It is a loose-knit affair, with some of those old arcade games available to play at a moments notice. Did I mention that TechSavers also makes custom arcade joysticks for your PC? Don has been programming computers since 1979, hanging out in computer stores since 1981, paid to sell and fix computers since 1986. "I didn’t leave computers and come back decades later, I’ve always been here. If you’ve got a problem with a Mac, Windows or Linux system, odds are pretty good I can fix it (compare that to the big box stores, where they want you to throw out your computer and buy a new one)." Cheap, too...our most expensive labour package is $99, and we frequently have sales to save you even more money.
