We acknowledge that we are on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee people and express our gratitude to them for allowing us to live, learn and work on their land. Unique shopping destination that promotes and represents over 150 Prince Edward County artists, authors, potters, photographers, fabric artists, woodworkers, jewelers, sculptors, glassmakers, and local food producers. •Booths and gallery with great variety of all types of local products, arts, foods
-Large presentation/performance area for local musicians, artisans and speakers to use to demonstrate, perform or speak about what they do
-Silks Vintage - large collection of vintage purses, jewellery, scarves and ties

There's an artist in our Hayloft Gallery that our team keeps coming back to: Vadim Vaskovsky
Vadim is a real admirer of Paul Klee, and it shows. He breaks down the planes of Prince Edward County scenes much like the master himself, scratching in fine detail and building depth by making each plane smaller and smaller as it recedes. His colours are wonderful, and he's a genuinely gifted painter.
Come by the Hayloft Gallery in Prince Edward County. You won't be disappointed.

Meet Lara, part of our team here at The Local Store for three years. Her favourite thing in the whole shop? The maple butter.
Nyman's maple butter is the kind of thing you'll want on your morning toast, though Lara will tell you it's just as good straight off the spoon. Rich, smooth, and made right here in the County, it's liquid gold in a jar.
