It had been a busy couple of weeks for the ART Cadre. We’ve been in Cape Breton, FDIC Atlantic and Charlottetown teaching Heavy Rescue. We’d like to thank these organizations continued support and entrusting us with the responsibility of educating their members. A huge shoutout also goes to FireSafe HQ, PEIFFA and Shaw’s Towing for helping make these training events happen.

We would like to thank all the students we’ve had over the last few weeks for giving us their time and energy which made the courses successful. These firefighters showed tremendous passion, professionalism, skill and dedication to making their communities safer.

Finally the Cadre would like to thank our families for the continued support behind the scenes. Without them we couldn’t do what we do.

Last weekend we had the privilege of delivering our “The Initial Hoseline - Standpipe Edition” program to the Cross Roads Fire Department. These dedicated and passionate firefighters spent 20 hours preparing for fires in MidRise and HighRise buildings. We would also like to thank our friend and mentor Brent Brooks of HighRiseFirefighting for the use of several specialty nozzles allowing these firefighters the chance to learn about Special Water Application Tactics.

Paratech University - Saint-Paul (Moncton Area) Paratech University is a two-day hands-on event using the most current heavy lifting, shifting, stabilizing & building shoring techniques.

It's finally here.......we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning at 08:30 at the Community Hall, 6532 Route 515 in Saint Paul.

Conference Announcement.

Due to overwhelming interest in the Heavy Rigging Class we have decided to postpone the "Surviving Your Mayday" Operations and Command classes and have added additional seating for the Rigging Class. We are rescheduling these courses for next spring and will announce the dates soon. Thank-you to all those that registered for the Mayday programs and for your understanding in postponing them.

Don't forget we also have Dennis Reilly lectures on Saturday and Sunday. Don't miss the chance to meet and learn from this amazing speaker.

Are You Prepared To Survive Your Mayday?

Nothing strikes Fear and Increases Stress more on the fireground than hearing a Brother or Sister Firefighter scream "Mayday Mayday Mayday".

Whether you are the Incident Commander, a Company Officer or Firefighter on scene or the Firefighter calling the Mayday, Every Mayday Is Your Mayday.

These courses will give you the skills to manage the fear and stress of a Mayday, perform self-rescue, and to work as part of a team to effect the rescue of a down Firefighter.

Your Mayday is coming. It's not a matter of If but When. Are you Ready for it?
