We had the best weekend with this awesome family visiting from Alberta, giving the kids their very first taste of the ocean — and apparently we decided to set the bar unreasonably high.

Plenty of fish in the boat, whales putting on a show, crab and prawns in the traps, and a front-row seat to the Blackberry Festival fireworks to cap it all off.

Basically, we’re pretty sure these kids are going home thinking this is just what happens when you visit the ocean.
