❤️ Does anyone else ever just feel… OVERWHELMED?
Like… overwhelmed by all the decisions you made when you were NOT overwhelmed? 😂
September and October are always a LOT for me personally and for Crafty Redhead.
Because apparently last-year-me thought it was a fantastic idea to sign up for all the things. 🤦‍♀️😂
Studio fair. Small business fairs. Markets. Events.
And then there are the three children born in September and October, because apparently we like to keep things extra exciting around here. 🎂🎉
Plus my own birthday. 😝
Three birthday parties to plan.
Life.
Work.
Family.
Crafty Redhead.
ALL. THE. THINGS.
And to make things even more interesting, I have been way busier this summer than I originally expected, which means I am now even further behind on everything.
My to-do list is getting LONGER while the amount of time I have to actually DO those things is getting SHORTER. 😳
And here’s the really fun part…
Sometimes I don't even know where to start.
So I just… sit there.
Looking at everything.
Thinking about everything.
Feeling completely overwhelmed by everything.
And somehow being completely unable to actually DO anything. 😩
It’s like my brain has 47 tabs open, 12 are playing music, I can't figure out which one, and now absolutely nothing is loading. 😂
Overwhelmed doesn't even begin to describe it.
And then there’s the little added plot twist that my doctor thinks I might have ADHD.
So… FUN FUN FUN FUN. 😂🤦‍♀️
I know I’m not the only one who experiences this, and honestly, I think sometimes we need to talk about the fact that being overwhelmed doesn't always look like running around doing everything.
Sometimes it looks like sitting completely still because you have SO MUCH TO DO that you don't know how to start.
So if you're feeling that way too…

Day one of my big project is finished.
And my big surprise is that I have invested in a Meta Quest S3 to take my images and project them onto windows and walls 🤯
This has been a time saver for sure and I’m loving how I’m able to get everything all proportioned the same for each window. Stay tuned for the big reveal in the next couple days

I can finally say it… this is officially my biggest commission yet. 🥹❤️
And honestly? It may be the most important commission I’ve ever taken on — and quite possibly ever will.
I’m still very much in the middle of it, and today involved a LOT of this… ⬇️

There’s something pretty special about taking a blank space, putting in the work, and getting ready to create something that means so much.
