It's the beginning of another long weekend!
If you're travelling, please check road conditions and closures before you head out. Expect extra traffic on BC highways, drive with patience and caution.
If you're camping, remember to check for any campfire restrictions before lighting a fire.
Enjoy the long weekend, and stay safe!

Prince George Pride Parade
Saturday July 4th
10:30 AM to 12:00 PM Downtown Prince George to Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park

We have exciting news - this year SGFR will be at the front of the 29th annual pride parade! Members of SGFR will be handing out stickers from our firetruck decorated in vibrant and sparkling colours. At SGFR we believe that everyone is welcome, and that all spaces should be inclusive and create a sense of belonging.

Hosted by the Prince George Pride Society, the parade will be "a joyful explosion of colour, community, and unapologetic self-expression. This is more than a parade, it’s a powerful celebration of love, identity, and the vibrant 2SLGBTQIA+ community that continues to thrive in Northern BC."

The event is free, and all are welcome - we are looking forward to seeing you and your family there!
