We’re Hiring: Administration Assistant



Northern Innovation Network is looking for an organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our team in Prince George, BC.



This is an in-person role supporting the day-to-day administration and operations of our non-profit organization, which works with technology businesses, startups, entrepreneurs, and economic development partners throughout Northern British Columbia.



What you’ll do:



• Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and team
• Coordinate Board, Committee, and AGM meetings, materials, minutes, and action items
• Manage reception, general inquiries, scheduling, records, and office administration
• Coordinate supplier invoices and payment processing with our bookkeeper
• Maintain electronic records, contact information, and CRM database entries
• Assist with program intake, participant communications, scheduling, logistics, and tracking
• Help coordinate workshops, networking activities, meetings, and events
• Support social media, newsletters, event listings, and other communications
• Assist with office supplies, equipment, meeting rooms, and general facility needs
• Attend occasional Northern Innovation Network and community events



We’re looking for someone who:



• Has administrative or office support experience
• Is highly organized and attentive to detail
• Can manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Communicates professionally with clients, partners, and the public
• Is comfortable learning new technology and software
• Is proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive
• Is comfortable using PowerPoint, Canva, and similar tools
• Has experience with CRM systems, social media, or email marketing tools, an asset
• Can occasionally work outside regular office hours for events



Position Details



📍 Downtown Prince George, BC, in person
⏰ Full-time, 40 hours per week
📅 Six-month term, with possible extension subject to funding
💰 $25 to $27 per hour
