We are partnering with School District No. 57 to host the Early Years Fair! ✨

This is a family event highlighting community resources for young children and their parents. Come and learn about educational, recreational, wellness and lifestyle resources in our community. The fair will begin right after Storytime, drop in and stay for as long as you like.

Community agencies include Northern Health, SD57, Childcare Resource and Referral, Child Development Center, PGNFC, Aboriginal Infant & Family Development Program, and others!

Snack
StrongStart provides a daily snack for children attending the program. Snack is an opportunity for children to try new foods and enjoy sharing a common experience with their peers.
Because a snack is provided, we ask that outside food not be brought into or consumed at StrongStart, with the exception of infant formula.
Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming, safe, and respectful learning environment for all children and families.

Cell Phone Use
We ask that parents and caregivers refrain from using cell phones in the StrongStart learning environment. School District 57 students are required to restrict cell phone use during the school day, and we ask that parents model this behaviour during StrongStart.
If you need to take an important call (such as from a doctor or for business), please leave the StrongStart room with your child to take the call.
We have also received concerns from families about adults taking photos in the StrongStart learning environment. To help protect everyone’s privacy, we ask that cell phones not be used for photos or other purposes while in the StrongStart room.

We are very excited to have you join our StrongStart program. Our programs will begin next week.

There are going to be new changes to cell phone use and snacks in all of our centers. Please see the two other posts regarding these changes. Attached is the schedule for all of our StrongStarts.

Today is the last day of StrongStart for the 2025-2026 school year. If your child is heading off to Kindergarten, we wish them our very best. If you are returning to StrongStart in the fall, we look forward to welcoming you back in September. ❤️
