Fellow diorama builders, what is your favorite dust removing tool when you clean up your stuff?
Personally, I'm posting this today because I was today years old when I realized that there is really only one way of cleaning. Dioramas if you wish for that dust, you're dusting away to not fall again on one of your other diorama sets.
So I'm happy I found out. I'm disappointed. I just found out today so I'm not going to name the product, experiencing mixed feelings of joy for the solution and also shame for feeling like I just discovered the Earth is around while most of you probably already know this tip 🤣🤣.
I'm just going to post it as a photo, dirt cheap at the dollar store.
For sure my streets won't look like downtown New York City anymore 🤣
FKT Custom Toy Cars, If you're not learning from mistakes, you're just failing again, and again.... When you're tired of failing You switched the program to jealousy and trash talking calling those those who choose critical thinking and progress " too much" for for work..... And I And every time you use that sentence, someone hears that you are not enough. Read that again bro, If you believe that someone is too much and you express it, you are literally exposing a lower bandwidth than that other person you are somehow criticizing for being.... Better? 🤣🤣
Some have an internal monologue. Some don't some think inside the box others don't have a box....
Interesting How people that are too much for my knowledge are viewed as inspiration, motivation. Someone I can go to for questions........ Fact of the matter is I'm pretty sure I want to know the stuff he knows...... This is a one-way Street towards a single destination and it's a brick wall, that wall? It's called knowledge.
Belittling someone by calling him too much? Common strategy for weak ass. B****** that are somehow convinced that the shameful event here is to initially not know the information. You're about to know, bypassing the whole curiosity aspect and the whole" whole no man I don't know that. Can you tell me more?" Aspects of communication..
Side effects to that s***? Why the hell do you think small talk is pretty much a weatherman act trying to outsmart the other person's predictions and accuracy, 🤣🤣
A while ago I actually challenged myself to create random conversation out of awkward silence moments in public areas. The challenge was to push anything else then the typical small talk topics that both make you cringe and one of them at simultaneously. My go-to is a compliment a tease and a question and that person starts talking, and I start uploading new knowledge and asking questions 💯
Ironically, people with higher education are the higher scorers in the awkward silence killing moments they are necessary..... And it always baffles me to remember that somehow people with less education ask tons of questions to understand the mechanics of the wise while the scholars are annoyed by the multiple questions because the answer is always the same, , it's usually " because that's how I learned it in school" 🤣🤣
To everyone reading this post today your challenge for this week if you shall accept it. Replace small talk topics by random f****** bold topics. Maybe your dog? Maybe a trip in another country? Maybe the spicy color of someone's piece of clothes. Your success can be determined by The smiling or absence of smiling of the one you're speaking to.
Good luck with that, share your experience, you'll get better over time 💯👌

PRO COLLECTOR TIPS: A SURVIVAL GUIDE FOR THE DOOMED
Satire. Do not apply. Seriously. This is my version of McDonald's warning on their coffee cups that the coffee and the cup is f****** hot so Read for entertainment and if you see yourself in any of the accidents below, bro, fix your s*** what the f*** 🤣🤣
Here it goes. Have fun. Enjoy your Thursday peeps
---
TIP #1: THE 250 LIE
She reads that collectors spend 250 yearly. You spend that in a weekend. Your move? Call it "a quarter thousand." Sounds bigger. Sounds like you're worried. Then hit a full thousand and realize: cute. Just cute. There are 999 more where that came from. Acceptance follows. Or divorce. 50/50.
---
TIP #2: THE STRIPPER DEFLECTION
She loses her s over your wall of mainlines? Hit her with this: "This is two nights of lap dances I didn't get. Reinvested. Plus I stayed home with you." You never went to st*****rs. She doesn't know that. The seed plants. The giggle follows. The judgment fades. Ride carefully. She might ask to go with you someday. Have a backup Walmart ready.
---
TIP #3: THE FAKE KIDS
Cashier says "your children are lucky." Smile. Say thanks. Don't correct her. You're now a father of two. Under ten. Hot Wheels addicts. Not Lego kids — you dodged that bullet. Remember their names. Two names. Parents know their children's names. This is unspoken law. The lie grows. The garage diorama grows. The risk? She invites you out. She wants to see the kids. You're gay now. Or a widower. Or adoptive hero. Choose wisely. You can't step out of this one.
---
TIP #4: THE CO***NE GAMBIT
Ultimate cheat code. She worries at 250? Invent co***ne. Live it. Hide your Hot Wheels purchases. Then "fight the addiction." Slowly reintroduce cars as "healthy replacement." She'll melt. She'll defend your collection against her own doubts. Because crackhead > car collector, and she knows it. Warning: Don't actually fall into co***ne. That's just believing your own story too hard. Not responsible for that.
---
TIP #5: THE TIMU BINGE
Amazon is for amateurs. Timu is for artists. 2,500 of random diorama s. Quarter the price. Same chaos. "Look honey, I saved us thousands." Ignore that it's still five grand. Ignore that it could've been twenty. Ignore that you could still be a crackhead. Focus on the savings. The rectangle around your bed grows. The questions stop. The peace? Fragile. Temporary. Beautiful.
---
TIP #6: THE KITCHEN PARADOX
She wants to refurbish a working kitchen. Four times your collection cost. Boring. Shiny for six months. Then? Nothing. I see a lifetime of products, tools and binge buys towards this project that will probably reach levels and never even fathomed so yes, Your diorama? Gains value. Gains story. Gains soul. She won't understand. Don't argue. You're weird. You're in your head. You're wild! Those aren't critics. They're words that are telling you you're on the right f****** path so Just keep building. The kitchen will age. The El Camino heist is forever.
---
FINAL WARNING:
These tips come from a divorced amateur who learned too late. The facade works until it doesn't. The silence replaces the drama. The rectangle around your bed becomes a city. She stops asking. You stop explaining. Is this victory? Is this loss? I'll just say that my collection remained safe and completely uncared for as belongings were separated. In my opinion This s*** beats any and every divorcee asset arguments that requires law
Doesn't matter. The cars are cool. People get divorced for the dumbest s*** anyway so I got something tangible that explains how typical women lose their s*** over unprepared Hot Wheels collectors on their way to normalcy 🤣
"chaos orders respect" And women love to order drama And the only way out is to learn to see it coming. So start preparing your new addiction today.
You're f****** welcome

FKT Customs - East Bay Opening

The lot wakes up empty. Concrete. Rust. Materials that showed up without paperwork—the kind you don't log, just use.
Jesse's white R32 idles first. He's been here for hours. Doesn't sleep much since the last job. The BIKINI CAR WASH sign flickers on and suds hit pavement before the city remembers it exists.
Then Maverick arrives. Red BMW. V6 screaming. Sunglasses on at dawn. Motor keeps running—twenty minutes, maybe more. Maverick doesn't stop motors. He doesn't stop s**t. S**t starts when he gets here.
Chad rolls in on the Harley. Behind him, the Mercedes U300 hauls a trailer with no plates. Rat Fink Beetle inside. Collector didn't want to sell. But he had a Beetle. We had blackmail. Collector's fine. Just embarrassed.
Flatbeds cross the other way—stolen cars under tarps that don't fit. Nobody waves. Everybody sees.
Blue Porsche 911 Carrera hits the corner. Golden mags. Full drift. Smoke everywhere. Driver's been holding it for miles. Bay Number 2. Quick stop. Back out screaming chaos, parks beside Maverick like it was always his spot. They look. They look away. Both understand.
Chad leads the convoy out. Clean. No receipts. Pickups roll in separate—rails, guards, cones, garbage cans. Stage setup for what's coming. Parallel operations. Compartmentalized ignorance.
Last arrival: Subaru. Too fast. Sloane at the wheel—bikini still damp, heels on the mat, hungover from last night. Loses the rear. Finds the wall. Crawls out. Lights a cigarette. "Can I park here?" Nobody answers. She climbs back in, flies off. The wall remembers. The floor remembers everything.
By the end, Rat Fink sits under Roger Rabbit. F YOUR FEELINGS. Maverick's BMW still idling. Smoke cleared. Show's permanent. Sanity's temporary.
East Bay is open.
