Optimize your budget and stay on top of your deadlines with Can-Ex Technologies: your one-stop shop for cutting-edge NASSCO-compliant sewer inspection solutions. We develop new tools by finding novel applications to existing technologies in order to improve the sewer inspection industry - we firmly believe there is always room for improvement to achieve excellence and reduce losses! OUR STORY
Our parent company Can-Explore provides inspection, surveying and engineering services. Initially, Can-Ex Technologies was focused on designing solutions to streamline internal Can-Explore’s operations and solve problems. The tools that emerged (and are still emerging!) from our initial goal were so impressive that we couldn't help but share them. We firmly believe that these tools have the power to transform asset management on a global scale. As a result, we have chosen to extend our revolutionary technological innovations to municipalities, sewer inspection companies, and engineering firms like yours. OUR PRODUCTS

ZIPCAM 360
The first nozzle-propelled, PACP-compliant inspection camera on the market, the ZIPCAM 360 records a panoramic, 360-degree video of your pipe, as well as the distance travelled. All you have to do is hook it up to your hose and click a single button! ANALYSIS
Our software solution is the most modern and intuitive platform that facilitates the work of everyone involved in pipeline inspection, ranging from engineering managers to analysts. The ANALYSIS software platform centralizes inspection data so users can access, manage, update, and modify all of their information using a single hub.

Introducing the NEW ZIPCAM 360, with AI-powered Field Insights.

Sewer inspection has followed the same workflow since the ’60s: a first crew cleans, another collects footage, and a third reviews it.

Now, 60 years later, we have more standards, more pipes, and far fewer people to maintain them.

With the new ZIPCAM 360, we’re enabling cleaning crews to gather PACP condition data, as simply and as quickly as it should be.

In the field, the mobile app shows them a list of AI-powered insights on their phone, while they’re still next to the manhole, when they can do something about it.

If your cleaning truck can come back with a video of every pipe it cleans, it should.

We’ll be at the WEFTEC event, booth #1010, New Orleans, September 28–30.💧

Book a live demo, or just come see where the industry is heading.
We'll be happy to walk you through the new Field Insights feature in person.

The sector is going through a knowledge transfer in a tight labor market, and a shift toward digital tools, all at once.👷‍♂️📱

When we talk to the crews inspecting our networks, they all agree: the best tools are the ones that fit naturally into existing operations, not the ones that add steps or complexity to them.

We're bringing new ideas to the table at WEFTEC this year, and we just want to talk.

What if sewer inspection could be integrated into the work already happening in the field?

Earlier this month at PWX in Houston, we shared our vision with the industry: bringing cleaning, pipe inspection, manhole inspection, while providing AI-powered field insights in a single on-site operation.

Our conversations throughout the event only reinforced our conviction:
the industry is ready to automate more of the manual work happening in the field.

PWX 2026 is getting to an end, and today, Cole took the stage to share what’s really slowing down sewer inspection data collection in 2026.🎤

His presentation draws on five years of conversations and field experience with professionals across the industry. He walked through some of the most common challenges we’ve heard and the ways organizations can address them to increase inspection output.👷👷‍♀️

Cole will be delivering this presentation again as a webinar this fall!💻

If you're interested in joining us, let us know in the comments, and we’ll reserve an exclusive spot for you.🦾

Excited to welcome the City of Fontana, CA to Can-Ex Technologies inspection solution ecosystem!

Cole recently completed the onboarding with their Public Works team who manages more than 480 miles of wastewater and stormwater pipelines. With the ZIPCAM 360 deployed directly from their combination vacuum trucks, operators can now capture quick visual inspections following each cleaning operation.💧

During the initial demonstration, the ZIPCAM footage identified two corrugated metal stormwater pipes requiring rehabilitation. When we returned 45 days later for onboarding, both had already been rehabilitated.🦾

Congratulations to the Fontana team on this great work, and welcome aboard!🤝

Cole recently captured this unique perspective of our inspection ecosystem in action. Following the cleaning operation, the ZIPCAM 360 travels through the sewer pipe for the inspection, while the DIPCAM is lowered into the manhole above.

With an integrated workflow where pipelines and manholes are documented together, two technicians can deliver more complete data for engineers, contractors, and municipalities in a single field operation.👷👷‍♀️

Different sewer assets. One field operation. One integrated inspection ecosystem.🦾

Find of the week: a big plastic bucket lid perfectly stuck in a sewer line, first making you wonder how it got there, and then how to get it out.👀

To restore proper flow, technicians would use a pipe reaming robot: a cutter-equipped robotic system designed to break through solid obstructions such as roots… or plastic lids. Once the blockage is removed, the pipe is cleaned using a high-pressure nozzle to flush out all remaining debris.

A big thanks to field technicians who work everyday to keep our networks running smoothly!👷🦾

Our latest use case is live! As the maintenance season kicks back into high gear, we want to wish the South Fork Sewer District team successful inspections in the Silver Valley, and a special thanks to Pete, District Manager, for taking the time to share his feedback:

''Before adopting the ZIPCAM 360, our approach was to clean about one-third of the network early in the season, then return later to perform inspections with our CCTV system.

Today, inspection is integrated directly into every cleaning operation. We now systematically follow each cleaning with a quality check. It gives us a much more complete picture of the overall condition of our sewer network.''

The No-Dig event is wrapping up in Palm Spring, and Samuel and Mike had the chance to connect with engineers, asset managers, and sewer inspection professionals asking sharper questions than ever.🦾

Key themes kept coming up on the floor including workforce efficiency, data lifecycle, and integrated tools.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked tough questions, and shared what's happening in your sewer systems. These exchanges make us better at what we do!💧️

We have a big announcement to make today. An EXTREMELY important one. We often hear that infrastructure inspection lacks glamour, that sewers “aren’t exactly inspiring”…

So we decided to fix that.

This spring, Can-Ex Technologies is launching its brand new exclusive limited-edition calendar, featuring our team members hard at work in the field.

Sewer inspection has never been this viral, this… unforgettable.
No one is ready for July.🤩
