Welcome to Camp Wingate, a co-ed overnight camp located in the beautiful Laurentian Mountains, just 60 miles north of Montreal, Canada. Camp Wingate provides the ideal setting to foster memories, friendships and values that will last a lifetime. Our summer camp for children ages 7-17 offers a broad array of individual and team sports, performing and visual arts as well as camp-wide special events. In a fun and stimulating environment we provide a range of opportunities for kids to challenge themselves, gain confidence and expand their horizons. At Camp Wingate our goal is to promote a sense of camaraderie, enthusiasm, respect and responsibility. Our staff is hand picked, mature and motivated to teach, inspire, comfort and help create life long memories and friendships.
Somewhere in St-Adolphe-d’Howard, there’s a place that feels a whole lot like home. 💙
A place filled with best friends, belly laughs, campfires, traditions, and the kind of memories that stick with you long after summer ends.

There’s something special about a Day 1 photo. 💙
Bunk 7, right at the beginning - when the whole summer was still ahead of them. New friendships were just getting started, traditions were waiting to be experienced, and so many memories had yet to be made.
They didn’t know it yet, but some of the people standing beside them would become the reason Wingate felt like home. ☀️
We’d go back to this day in a heartbeat.

All summer long, we were in awe of the way you showed up. You said yes. You tried new things. You stepped outside your comfort zones. You welcomed new people, cheered each other on, laughed loudly, and made the most of every single day.
You reminded us that the magic of Wingate has never just been about the place, the activities, or the traditions.

Hockey is BACK. 🔵⚪️🔴
Montreal is home, and hockey has always been a big part of summers at Wingate. From the rink at camp to cheering on the Habs at home, this is a game our campers LOVE. 🏒

A little love for the crew who made our days on the water some of the BEST days of summer. 🌊
From boating and waterskiing to tubing and everything in between, our waterfront staff brought the energy, the encouragement, and a whole lot of fun every single day.
Thank you for helping campers try something new, build confidence, and make some pretty unforgettable memories out on the lake.
Our waterfront wouldn’t be the same without you. ☀️

Some of camp's biggest heroes work while the rest of us sleep. 💙
Everyone knows Kris - the guy on the 1am to 6am shift, all summer long. Weeks of late nights and not a single complaint - just a helping hand for anyone who needs one, and a watchful eye over camp so the rest of us can rest easy.
Kris, thank you for all the hard work, the long hours, and everything you do for the Wingate family. ✨

Every time this one comes on the radio, we're right back in Wingate Hall - arm in arm with our best friends, singing at the top of our lungs.
