I’d been so homesick for a PEI summer so a quick (always too short) trip made everything better. Oh Hey, Holman’s and Handpies, oh my!
We created a week of long-term memories and I got to see some of my favourites, though no PEI vacation is ever long enough to do it all.
One of the best parts was picking up my girl from the dog sitter’s house. Miss Molly sure was happy to see us!

This is the fastest summer I’ve ever experienced so I hope the remaining days slow the heck down.
I am the biggest lover of unloved jokes but sometimes a girl just needs a break, ya know?
Such a fantastic weekend at !
From Molly packing herself in the car while we got ready to go to endless walks on the beach, this weekend retreat was just what we needed. Thank you to Alyssa and Robert for such a great stay, including a little welcome note and treat that, to be honest, didn’t last long!

Life lately:
Feeling revived by the change in light but still missing fresh snow.
Baking more often for the little ones.
Feeling the urge to get back to reading. My stack is calling my name.
Knowing my body needs rest and movement but it wants rest best.
Feeling both settled and anxious; forever flipping between the two.
