KC Missions

The team will be enjoying a tourist day today before catching a flight home tomorrow.

The Guatemala team is heading up the mountains to work with kids and do home visits. Please keep us in your prayers as we minister to the people.

Our Guatemala team could use some prayer right now. We’ve got a case of heatstroke, a foot injury and the death of a family member back home. Please cover us in prayer.

Some of our medical personnel teamed up with local nurses, physicians and a team from Alabama. We were able to serve 200 people over the last two days. ❤️

Another medical clinic and VBS for our team in Guatemala today.

The team has safely arrived in Guatemala. Pray today as we work a medical clinic and work with the children.

The Pregnancy Resource Center of Saint John (PRCSJ) held its VIRTUAL FALL FUNDRAISER this past weekend. Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9Pyvdx9mDU. The video, which focuses primarily on client stories and the PRCSJ's vision for the next year, gives a great glimpse of their services and the impact they're having in the community.

In addition, the PRCSJ is concluding its ONLINE AUCTION this evening on the PRC page (https://www.facebook.com/sjpregnancyresource). If you wish to make a bid, add your name and bid under your chosen item. If yours is the top bid at closing time, you win! It’s as simple as that! Don't miss this great opportunity to do some Christmas shopping AND support this vital ministry.

The PRCSJ is a Christian faith-based organization dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate place for people facing unintended pregnancy or pregnancy-related challenges. By providing accurate education, the PRC empowers women to make decisions based on their values rather than their circumstances. To find out more, visit https://prcsj.ca.

Continue to pray for Pastor Solon and our partner church in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In addition to the challenges posed by COVID-19, the country has been rattled this year by the assassination of its president, the magnitude 7.2 earthquake in August (with another 4.1 earthquake striking off the coast earlier this week), and gang violence throughout Port-au-Prince (and specifically in Maïs Gaté where our partner church is located).

Kidnappings have also been a major problem, including the abduction of a group of 17 missionaries earlier in October. And now a fuel shortage is causing even more unrest and upheaval.

In a recent message, Pastor Solon requested prayer for the following:

- Pray to have peace in our country.
- Pray for our brothers in South of Haiti (where the earthquake struck).
- Pray for family.

The Pregnancy Resource Center of Saint John is hosting an ONLINE AUCTION from November 1 through November 8 on their page. Don't miss this great opportunity to do some Christmas shopping AND support this ministry.
