Bev Craswell
December 23, 1953 - September 18, 2026

Bev passed away at Pasqua Hospital in Regina, with family at her side. Although she had just recently moved to Strasbourg, she was glad to finally be here; a place that held so many wonderful memories for her.

Bev was the definition of love. She found joy in everything and everyone, and shared her love freely. Her hugs will be missed by everyone.

Bev is survived by her brother Bob Craswell, sister Karen McDonald (Bill McDonald), nephew Justin McKenzie and niece Kristin McKenzie (Don Allary), Heath and Lexi McDonald, Chris and Paula McDonald and great nieces and nephews Cohen, Brody, Harper, Samara, Noel, Ethan and Lauren and well as many extended family members.

We want to express our gratitude to the care she received from many over the past few years. Edith Cavell Care Centre, Rehoboth Adult Day Program, and Chinook Regional Hospital, and EMS in Lethbridge. We would also like to thank Last Mountain Pioneer Home, Strasbourg EMS and the doctors and nurses at Pasqua hospital who were so companionate and helpful during this difficult time.

There will be a Celebration of Life in Calgary at McInness and Holloway, Park Memorial Chapel, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. on October 9th, 2026 at 2:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Last Mountain Pioneer Home in Strasbourg, SK, Strasbourg Emergency Medical Service, or a charity of your choice.

DUBEY – On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Yvette Alice Dubey, Wolseley, SK., died at the age of 79 years.

The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Anne’s R.C. Church, Wolseley, SK on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. by the Rev. Francis Hengen. Interment of cremated remains in the parish cemetery.

Predeceased by her parents, Owen and Irene (nee Langlois) Dubey, sister, Terri Martin, brothers, Leo and Raymond. Yvette is survived by her sisters, Mary (Thom) Irving and Rosalind (John Paul) Fitzpatrick, her brother-in-law, Fred Martin, her aunt Ferne Langlois as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

No flowers by request, if friends so desire contributions to St. Anne’s Parish Cemetery, Box 100, Wolseley, SK., S0G 5H0 may be tokens of remembrance.

Colby Logan Delorme
" Mihkowataniy " (Red Tail)
September 22, 1991 - September 8, 2026

Colby was called home by Creator on Tuesday September 8th at the age of 34 to be reunited with his mother Laura Ann Delorme Sangwais. He was also predeceased by his sister Taylor; maternal grandpa Ken Delorme, paternal grandparents Felix and Bernice Antoine. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved children Carter, Colby Logan Jr., Jaxson, and Kyler; his father Felix Jr. (Memory); his stepfather Randy; siblings Jay (Shania), Megan (Ethan), Maddison (Riel), Dalton, Cree, and Punky; special aunt Carmaceita Garson; special cousins Nathan Haywahe and Linus Kaysaywaysemat Jr.; grandmother Myrna; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that cherished him greatly.

He was raised on Zagime Anishinaabek First Nation and attended school on Cowessess First Nation. He then went on to complete his ABE 12 in 2021. He was a well-rounded athlete. As a kid he enjoyed hunting in the evenings. Over the years as a youth he participated in First Nation Summer and Winter games. He enjoyed spending quality time with his cousins and bros. He was so proud to become a father; he loved his children very much.

Colby will be forever remembered for his outgoing personality and soft heart. He made people laugh wherever he went.

Wake will be held Monday, September 14, 2026 at 1 pm in the Band Hall, Cowessess First Nation. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2026 with a feast at 11 am and Funeral Service to follow in the same location. The family respectfully request no children under the age of 12 be in attendance.

Destiny Dawn Severight
September 18th, 1993 - September 9th, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one, Destiny Dawn Severight, who went home to be with the Creator on September 9th, 2026, at the age of 32.

She was predeceased by her loving mother, Gloria Faye Severight; maternal grandparents Ralph & Stella Severight; paternal grandparents Alec & Verna Geddes,

She leaves to cherish her memory, her five sons: Malyeke, Ryder, Kensley, Kyrie & Kiro; father Gabriel Geddes Sr; siblings: Dawna (Daniel), Jeremy (Monica), Shannon (Mike), Gabe Jr, Amanda (AJay) along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

Destiny was a beautiful soul who had a way of making everyone around her feel like a friend. She was kind, caring & full of laughter. She had many friends because of the love & warmth she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed.

A traditional wake will be held on Sunday, September 13th, 2026, at 4pm in the old gymnasium on George Gordon First Nation. Funeral Services will take place the following day, Monday, September 14th, 2026, at 11am in the same location.

Gerald (Jerry) Louis Morrison

January 10th, 1960 - September 5th, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one, Jerry Morrison, who went home to be with Creator on September 5th, 2026.

He leaves to mourn his wife Martha Morrison from the Fishing Lake First Nation.
His mother was Lena Morrison and father was Fred Streu. His grandparents were John and Victoria Morrison (nee Assiniboine).

He leaves to mourn his two sons, Jerrith Courage Brass (Candace) and Jarrod Joshua Brass. Granddaughter, Vienna Ivy Deschamps, Grandson, Jayden Gift Horsefall. Brother Orval Wayne Bear Sr. (Cathy) and sister Brenda Ann Morrison. Nieces & Nephews: OJ, Valerie, Kirby, Samantha, Rebecca, Kaya, Orval Jr., Emerald, Natasha & August.

Jerry and his wife Martha raised grandchildren Zuriyah, Zya, Danyay, Leylei & Reedan. Jerry was raised on the Ochapowace Nation with his Mushum Robert Bear and Brother Orval. He went to live with Margaret and Marlowe Kenny for a few years and then he moved to Regina when he was 20. He then met his wife Martha and moved out to the Fishing Lake First Nation. There wasn’t anyone on Fishing Lake that didn’t know him. He was well known by everyone, First Nation and non Frist Nation. Jerry was very talented artistically. He has paintings all over Canada and painted many murals. Fishing Lake First Nation proudly has one of his paintings in their health clinic.

Traditional Wake will be held Friday, September 11th, 2026 at 4 pm, in the Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex, Ochapowace First Nation, with services beginning at 7 pm. Funeral Service will be the following day, Saturday, September 12th, 2026, at 1 pm in the same location.

Siegfried “Ziggy” Gottfried Schulz
November 21, 1934 - September 7, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Siegfried “Ziggy” Schulz who passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026 at the age of 91.
Sieg was born on November 21, 1934 to David Andrew and Maria Schulz on a farm southwest of Duval, SK. His parents had emigrated from Russia in 1926, bringing with them their German heritage and the strong work ethic and values that would become an important part of Sieg’s life.

Sieg started and completed his education at Midway school to grade 8 then went on to Concordia Junior College and started grade 11 at Balfour Tech in Regina, SK. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church Duval, SK. After deciding that a life of hard work suited him better than the classroom, he began working on a seismograph crew before moving on to work for Jacks Electric, helping bring electricity to the Last Mountain area. He later applied to the RCMP and while waiting to be accepted, worked as a Canada Post letter carrier for three months. After completing his eight-month RCMP training, including two months of horsemanship, Sieg decided that policing wasn’t the right fit for him and in 1956 became a city firefighter, a career he dedicated himself to until 1974.

After moving his family to Strasbourg in 1970, he turned his attention to farming. He drove ambulance for Hansen’s in the 1980’s and spent eight years on church council. He contributed to various volunteer projects such as the remodelling of the church parsonage and the new build of the town rink. He painted many new house interiors for his brother in law Otto and helped build houses with his brother Alfred.
Hard work was the hallmark of Sieg’s life. He was dependable, dedicated, willing and generous, always lending a helping hand and never expecting anything in return. Helping others was simply part of who he was.

In 1959, Sieg married Gloria, daughter of Jack and Hilda Erhardt. Together they shared nearly 67 years of marriage. They raised three children - Terry, Donald and James. Sieg took pride in his family, enjoying watching his children play hockey, baseball and figure skating. Numerous family summer trips were enjoyed at Manitou Beach with brother Dave and family. Sieg and Gloria made trips to BC, US, Ontario and one momentous trip to Malaysia in 1998.

Sieg was a proud grandfather and great grandfather. He was the neighbour and friend you wanted to have. He could seemingly repair and build anything. Sieg and Gloria were there for each other through thick and thin. He wrote in his diary daily, had a good faith, enjoyed reading the newspaper, doing crosswords, making sausage and sauerkraut, playing cards with friends and family, cutting wood, cutting hair, gardening, and cutting grass making sure the farmyards were neat and tidy. He enjoyed his coffee’s out at the Pioneer, a good storm, his daily stops at the CO-OP, and when family and friends from near and afar would visit.

He leaves a piece of himself behind in everything he built, a reminder of the patience and the heart he had for his family. He was full of wit, and shared it with all. His life was rich with hard work, family, community, laughter and countless memories that will be treasured by all who knew him, bringing to a close a remarkable 91 years 9 months and 17 days.

Sieg was predeceased by his parents David Andrew Schulz (1944) and Maria (nee Diel; 1979), siblings Reinhardt (1910), Maria (1913), Maria (1918), Lydia (1916), David (2003), Maria (1919), Alvina (2015), Mary (2011), Alfred (2013), Rudy (2007), Emmanuel (1999), nephews Dale and David, In-laws Lil, Otto Ruland, Otto Kelln, Marlene and Eileen. In-laws Jack and Hilda Erhardt, Donald Erhardt and Lloyd Erhardt. He is survived by his spouse Gloria, children Terry (Dale) Hirkala, Donald (Lauren) and James. Grandchildren Kristin (Clayton) Lomenda, Zak (Erin), Xavier (Jill), step grandchildren Travis Hirkala, Roxanne (Brian) Swann, Nick (Christine) Hirkala, Great grandchildren Ava, Heath, Halston, Aylah, Maize, Beckham, and Ellie, sisters in law Marlene Schulz, Lois Erhardt, and brother in law Rick (Debbie) Erhardt, 7 step great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Inez “Kathy” Keleman
February 9th, 1953 - September 3rd, 2026

The family of Kathy sadly announces her passing on September 3, 2026, at the age of 72.

Born on February 9, 1954, Kathy lived a full and meaningful life, enriched by the love of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength, and the deep love she shared with those closest to her.

Kathy cherished her family above all else and found great joy in the relationships she built throughout her life. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and the memories created throughout her lifetime will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Though she is no longer with us, the love Kathy gave so freely and the memories she leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. A life well lived leaves an enduring legacy, and Kathy’s will be one of love, family, and cherished memories.

In accordance with Kathy’s wishes, cremation will take place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date, where her loved ones will gather to honour her life and lay her to rest.

Donna Margaret McVicker

June 12, 1949 - August 29, 2026

Donna passed away peacefully in Regina at the age of 77, after many years of health challenges.

She faces every day with strength, courage and quiet grace that inspired those around her. David, her loving husband, was by her side throughout all of those challenges. Family was the heart of her life. She loved deeply, cared endlessly, and always put others first. Her warmth, kindness and unwavering love will live on in all of us.

Forever in our hearts.

As per Donnas wishes, a private family graveside service will be held Monday September 7 at 1 pm in the Balcarres Cemetery. Following the service, a small luncheon will be held in the Golden Age Center, Balcarres, Saskatchewan.

Santana Olivine Monroe

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Santana Olivine Monroe, “Tana.”

Santana was deeply loved and will always be remembered for her beautiful spirit, kind heart, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
