Disrupting the raw pet food industry in Alberta by raising the standards of what is available to you. Manufacturing and retail space coming soon!

Is your dog’s raw food priced drastically lower than what you pay for meat products at the grocery store? It might be time to take a closer look. 🥩
At Four Roots, we source our ingredients from Canadian-inspected facilities, utilizing components packaged for the human-grade food chain. (The single exception is our green tripe—because no human wants an unaltered tripe on their dinner plate, but our dogs thrive on it!)
Because we buy from the human-grade chain, our pricing is directly tied to real market costs and availability. To put it in perspective, the average cost of ground beef for consumers in Alberta hovers between $6 and $10 per pound.
If you are buying raw beef pet products that are priced drastically lower than regular market meat pricing, it’s a good time to have an open chat with your supplier about their sourcing and labelling standards and where that meat is actually coming from.
Is low pricing a red flag for you when buying raw dog food or do you look for other warning signs first? Sound off in the comments!

With Timber watching you, there's no other option than to make the best raw pet food in Alberta! 👀🐱🐶
In a market without regulation, we enforce rigorous, self-imposed standards every day for our raw pet food blends.
For example, if a batch comes off the line and we feel it is anything less than ideal for our clients, it gets thrown out. Period.
We have and will absorb the financial loss because your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are worth far more than a saved batch.
👇 Tell us we aren't the only ones who live under the constant judgement of a furry family member.... 🫣

🚧 Important Store Update for This Week! 🇨🇦
We have a couple of changes to our regular schedule this week.
🗓️ Tuesday June 30: Our front parking lot will be closed while we have new concrete poured. The store will still be OPEN from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, but all customers will need to use our back entrance.
To get to the back:
➡️ Continue down 78 Street around the bend.
➡️ Take the first left into our back alley.
➡️ Park right in front of the large bay doors—that’s where you’ll find our customer entrance for the day.
🇨🇦 Wednesday (Canada Day): CLOSED
If you need to stock up on food before the holiday, we encourage you to stop by Tuesday, as we’ll be closed on Wednesday.
We appreciate your patience while we make improvements to our property, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for supporting local! We hope everyone has a safe and happy Canada Day! ❤️🤍
