Our Queens are finding their groove and claim top spots in Saskatchewan! 🤠👑

Congratulations to Queens, Carley Dezotell, who took:
🥇 1st in Barrels on Saturday
🥉 3rd in Poles on Saturday
🥇 1st in Poles on Sunday

Queens, Elyse Terpsma also earned a spot in the Top 12, with Queens, Mattie Jensen-Batty knockin’ on the door!

As we continue another season of RDP Rodeo, we want to take a moment to recognize some pretty incredible people who have helped shape this program along the way.

First, a huge thank you to Guy Kelley. Guy came to us during an important time of transition as Rodeo moved into RDP Athletics. He stepped in, supporting our student-athletes and provided the additional leadership we needed. We are incredibly grateful for the time, knowledge and heart he gave to our program.

As Guy passes the torch, (but he’s never far away 😉) we are excited and grateful to have Stacey Terpsma step into the coaching role and continue building on that foundation. Stacey has already invested so much into our athletes and our program, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us.

We also want to recognize Becky Wylie Jardine and Trina Carroll, whose dedication and countless hours behind the scenes over the years have played an important part in growing, supporting and advocating for the RDP Rodeo Team. Programs like this don’t happen without people willing to put in the work, believe in the vision and continue showing up for our student-athletes.

To Guy, Stacey, Becky and Trina… thank you. Thank you for believing in this team, investing in our Kings & Queens, and helping make RDP Rodeo what it is today.

We are grateful for where we’ve been, proud of how far we’ve come, and excited for what’s ahead. 🤠👑
