Although this one was a custom build we’ve now done a number of these on request without advertising them on our site at www.customscouts.com. They are so popular that this will be a new product offering with the lower lights, with the custom option on request for the upper bar lights. This works with the OE brake lines and with aftermarket front flex lines. 😎

It’s been a minute since we shared an update on the #B2WScout… but rest assured, this build is very much alive — and evolving fast thanks to the killer work from @customscouts. ⚒️🔥

Earlier this year we shipped the Scout to Canada for a full sheet-metal resurrection. JT literally split the truck in half and cut out every rusted panel. The front floors, rockers, kick panels, cab mounts, and wedges were all replaced with 100% stainless steel panels made in-house from Custom Scouts.

From there, we teamed up with @ejclassicsco to overhaul the entire back half. We added OEM-quality inner & outer quarters, rear wheel wells, rear floors, and a brand-new trans tunnel. Aside from the doors and tailgate, the Scout is essentially new from the firewall back. The fit and finish of these panels is unreal — exactly what the Scout community needs to keep these rigs on the road for decades to come.

Next up: Custom Scouts reshaped the rear quarters to clear the 37” @nittotire Recon Grapplers, hand-working the metal with a hammer & dolly to keep the body lines crisp. The front fenders were cut and widened as well, with donor panels from @ihpartsamerica so we could maintain factory lines while maximizing up-travel and keeping the stance low and functional. Every inch of clearance matters when you’re building a rig to perform, not just look good.

The Scout is now back with @3d_offroad to finalize the chassis and get it running & driving. After that, it heads to @karlecoachwork for final bodywork and paint — then interior — and we’ll finally get to see this vision come to life.

This project is a massive undertaking, but watching each chapter unfold has been a blast. The best is yet to come! 🙌🏻

Just added this little gusset and cover to keep all the leaves and water out of this area behind the ScoutII front fender. This will work together with another modification we’re doing on this customers build, that will prevent the front fenders from ever getting rusty again. 😎🙌🏼
