With a background in business intelligence and a passion for community development, I'm committed to driving positive change in our region.

Hey there, I'm Carl Cosby, and I'm running to be your voice in the provincial legislature, representing Kent North with the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick. As President of Rexton Community Housing and Treasurer of the Rexton Community Improvement Committee, I've been actively involved in projects to enhance our community's quality of life and foster economic growth. Additionally, I serve as an advisor for Rexton Senior Citizens Housing, guiding expansion efforts to better serve our aging population. Join me in building a brighter future for New Brunswick, where everyone can thrive.

Some great news, excited to see this project come to life.

Five Rivers is pleased to announce the sale of an 8.75 acre municipal property in our Industrial Park to one of the most top real estate developers in New Brunswick.

724007 NB Limited, led by Gold Seal Professional Jesse Tucker, specializes in developing multi-family housing projects that provide high-quality, safe, and affordable housing for urban and rural communities.

In the past two years, they have built and brought-to-market more than 140 units of housing in the Miramichi area, and are currently converting a former middle school to residential housing for the Town of Woodstock.

The success of 724007 NB Limited can be attributed to many factors, including their close collaboration with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) and the Government of New Brunswick as well as their strong partnerships with local municipalities.

In Five Rivers, 724007 NB Limited has plans to construct two 21-unit apartment buildings, for a total of 42 new dwelling units, with the potential to add 60 more in phase 2.

Site work has already started, and construction will begin this fall, with the apartments expected to come on-line in the spring and summer of 2027.

Five Rivers is proud to welcome 724007 NB Limited to our community and looks forward to supporting their efforts to deliver new housing solutions for our residents.

I am incredibly honoured and humbled to have been elected as Ward 4 Councillor to serve the residents of Five Rivers.
Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout this campaign, the people who shared posts, put up signs, sent messages, stopped to talk, and believed in me. Your encouragement meant more than you know.
A special thank you to my friends and family who stood beside me every step of the way, and especially to my children. Everything I do is with the goal of helping build a stronger future for families like ours.
To the residents of Rexton, thank you for putting your trust in me. I will work hard every day to represent you honestly, respectfully, and with common sense.
I’m also looking forward to working alongside all those elected tonight as we continue building Five Rivers into a community people are proud to call home, a place where families want to live, work, and raise their children.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there.

Today is about recognizing the love, sacrifice, patience, and strength that mothers bring to our families and communities every single day.

Whether you’re spending the day surrounded by family, working, volunteering, or remembering someone special, I hope you know how appreciated you are.

Today, on International Firefighters Day, I want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible volunteer firefighters who serve our communities.
Across Five Rivers these men and women answer the call, day or night, often leaving their families, their jobs, and their daily lives behind to help others in moments of crisis. They don’t do it for recognition. They do it because they care deeply about the people and places we call home.
From responding to fires and accidents, to supporting medical emergencies and community events, their commitment and courage do not go unnoticed.
To every volunteer firefighter, thank you for your dedication, your sacrifice, and your service. Our communities are safer and stronger because of you.

This weekend, I’m stepping away from the campaign trail for something more important, my kids.

I’m spending the day watching Ethan at his motorcycle lessons, and honestly, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.
These moments matter. They don’t come around twice, and they’re a reminder of why we do all of this in the first place.

Public service is about building a better future, but that future starts at home, with our kids, our families, and the values we pass on every day.
I’ll be back out knocking on doors soon, but today I’m a proud dad first.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the meet and greet at the Rexton Lions Club yesterday.

It was a great opportunity to connect, have some honest conversations, and hear directly from residents about what matters most to them. I truly appreciate you taking the time to stop by, ask questions, and share your thoughts.

Events like this are a reminder of how strong and engaged our community is and why it’s so important that your voice is heard.

If you couldn’t make it, I’ll be continuing to get out across the community and would be happy to connect anytime.

Thank you again for the support.
