A Little History in Your Glass👇
While traditional Oktoberfest celebrations originally poured the darker, heavier Märzen, Festbier emerged in the 1970s as a lighter, more drinkable alternative. It was such a hit that by the early 1990s, it officially took over as the primary b**r style poured at Oktoberfest in Munich.
It's an amber colored, malt forward l***r with just a hint of sweetness. At 5.9% it packs a little punch, perfect way to warm up on these chilly fall evenings 😉
A heartfelt thank you to our local partners at Red Shed Malting for generously donating all the specialty malts used to brew Festbier, as well as the other two upcoming Hawktoberfest releases. Great local b**r starts with incredible local ingredients 🍻
