I was first exposed to the Davis Dyslexia Correction program when my youngest son, Macaskill, was in grade 3. At 9 years old Macaskill was reading at a kindergarten level; however, because he was not disrupting the class, his teachers did not notice and offered us no support or solutions. When looking for options, we found a Davis Facilitator in Ontario. We enrolled Macaskill in the week-long session and by the Friday he was reading at grade level. In addition to the dramatic improvement in his reading and comprehension, we noticed a change in his behavior caused by a huge increase in his self confidence. I was blown away by the difference only a week could make. I decided to become a Licensed Facilitator for Davis Dyslexia Correction program because of the success I have witnessed first hand and the sincere desire to help others who are struggling and frustrated with dyslexia like my son and myself. I started my training in San Francisco in 2018, and became fully licensed in March of 2020
