Just a reminder that donations of both Books & Bling (jewelry) will be accepted this Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 10am – 2pm behind the SIMS (Salt Spring Island Multispace) at the junction of Park Drive and Aldous Road.

This is a great reading activity!

Some of the best literacy lessons are already waiting at the kitchen table.
Families can

• count and measure while cooking
• write or draw a grocery list
• talk about the people and memories behind a favourite meal

This friday!

This Friday, August 21st, Eartha will be hosting our monthly Indigenous Story Time! Bring your kiddos by the children's area at 11am for some fun storytelling and learning about Indigenous ways of living and experiencing this world we all share.

It's that time again! We're accepting donations for Books & Bling!
Saturday, Aug 29th!

Jewelry donations can also be dropped off at:
Island Savings Credit Union – 9:30am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri
OR
Salt Spring Island Literacy Office/SIMS Multi – 11am to 3pm Mon-Thurs.
